This grip fit my Dan Wesson 14-2 perfectly. I installed it with the original screw, though a separate one was included in the package. The head of the screw was slightly larger than the hole in the rubber grip. But, it's rubber, so with a little more effort I was able to push it in until the grip snugged up nicely.There is a little less palm swell than the original wood grip which helped my "ham hands acquire better purchase on the trigger. I am most pleased with this grip

A nice grip for my Dan Wesson 15-2 .357. A bit larger than the original wood combat grip, that and the rubber composition makes it easier to hold. No problems installing like other reviews, the head of the screw was a hair larger than the hole in the grip and I was going to drill the hole out a bit but I just pushed the screw in some until the threads grabbed and then tightened it up. Don't tighten screw too much because you won't be able to cock the hammer.

Both Hogue grip & OEM grip screw kit arrived in mail today. Decided to give DIY a try and instillation was pretty drama free. Since grip kit came with hex wench it was easy to remove Presentation style grip and with a little of practicing screwing into grip post, was able to put new grip on in no time. Really like Hogue grip much better than Pachmayr Presentation grips. Fits me and my long fingers, but think it will also fit sister-in-law's shorter fingers just as well. Since it's an out of production revolver will be range gun only, but will get plenty of rounds down range.. I would recommend Hogue grips to handgun owners as a very comfortable alternative grip

As others have stated, the hole for the screw is too small (this would not be a problem if it were the soft rubber version of the grip, but it is with the hard plastic/nylon). Caution must be taken when enlarging the hole (so as not to bore too deep), and matching the diameter to the screw head won't work, because the hole does not match up EXACTLY with the threaded hole in the post, so some wiggle room is necessary. I ended up having to bore the hole out to 3/8" to make the screw line up & bite and while the over-sized/larger diameter hole looks somewhat a pig of a job, the Hogue grip feels DREAMY on my Dan Wesson & shoots even better.Buy with confidence, you will not be disappointed (assuming feel/enhanced grip is your motivation & not visual aesthetics)P.S. do not over tighten the screw, and be aware that the edges of the hard plastic/nylon grip are SHARP (I slashed my finger badly while taking it out of the packaging).

Did not fit our Dan Wesson Model 15. Also not the soft rubber like our other Hogue "Gripper" Grips. Hard plastic feeling.

Pro's: Big improvement over the stock wood gripEasy to install, Looks good, Fit is goodCon: The stock mounting screw is slightly too long... ( it's possible with screw thats too long to lock the action of your gun)These Hogue grips should come with the proper length screw

This item fits like a glove easy to install however remember if you tighten screw too far in it impedes the trigger the trigger will not pull you must back it out some or use the original screw that was on the original grip.
