I have some raggedy pot holders from the early 2000s that I love, but they are not attractive. Had been having trouble finding new ones that I liked - I am not a fan of all the silicone ones and ones that have the separate slot for your thumb. These are just perfect. Great size, grippy, soft inside, keep the heat away. There is also this nice stitch at the end where your fingers go. Hard to describe, but it is super helpful in making it feel more secure, but it isn't in the way or anything. Highly recommend!

I have had these for 5 years and they are like new

THE PERFECT SIZE AND SHAPE - LIKE COMBO POTHOLDERS AND OVEN MITTS - A little larger than standard potholders, these are pretty and compact. They fit on top of the utensils in my drawer. I have been baking cookies this weekend, and they fully protected my hands from the oven's heat and the hot cookie sheets. They have silicone strips on the outside so dishes, bowls, and pans won't slip out of your hands (convenient when removing bowls from the microwave). Each one has a small divider on the inside bottom, so they work almost like gloves, and you can grasp things -- but they are quick to put on and take off. I love them so much that I bought a second set as a gift.

For the price I paid these are ok. They are average pot holders, they do what they are supposed to do. They are a little thin and I feel like if I had large hands I would have trouble getting them in the holes. At the fingertip part of the mitt there is stitching that almost separates your finger like a mitten. I am not sure what the reason for that is as I find it is in the way, but the mitt does the job for a petite woman.

I like the length of these pot holders that cover hands like a mitten or just as a double ply holder. I had no heat coming through when pulling a full size turkey pan from the oven, so I feel they offer the safety I was looking for. Haven’t tried to wipe off any food which has been a big problem for me in the past with other pot holders, resulting in me tossing them in the trash. For now I am glad just to have clean and effective pot holders.

I liked the silicone gloves, my husband, not so much. I didn’t really like the feel of the silicone, but I could grip baking sheets... better. We had an old oven glove that wore out about ten years ago, that was the only one my husband would use. He had the audacity to ask me to get a new one for him. I looked at quite a few non silicone pot holders & oven mitts. I did not like what I was finding until I saw these.PERFECTION!!! The cloth my husband wants with silicone stripes to grip with. The product description says the silicone strips help with heat, I’m not sure if they do because they don’t cover a large area. There are a lot of stripes, so maybe they do.Either way, if you like the comfort of cloth oven gloves but want the gripping ability of silicone, grab these!I got the blue denim. They don’t look like denim, the blue is gorgeous and goes with our kitchen.These are a winner every way you look.

These are great! I bought the blue and the color is very pretty. These are larger which is exactly what I was looking for. We buy a take and bake pizza about once a week and the bake tray is thin, so we wanted a larger pot holder to help get the pizza out of the oven. The silicon helps keep the pizza tray balanced in place. I also like the that I can slip my hand into the pot holder and where the tips of my fingers touch is a neat little sewn in detail that separates the pocket just enough to help the pot holder stay where you want it on your hand. Also a plus, is that these arrived without any weird smell. I was able to take them out of their package and start using them right away. Unlike the set of gray I ordered from another company that smelled awful. I would definitely buy this product again or a similar product in a different shape in gray from this Big Red House company. I like how well these are made and that they have a lifetime warranty. They are handsome and they do a great job of protecting my hands from the heat. I have not washed them yet, but they seem well soon, so I’m not worried that they will fall apart like the junky brand I bought last time from Amazon. I definitely recommend this brand!
