Routine. Natural Deodorant (2 Fluid Oz.) Sweet Jane | Aluminum Free Natural Deodorant for Women & Men | Vanilla, Rose, Cinnamon & Tonka (Cream Jar Formula)

Have been using for several years. Works as promised and one small jar last forever. For some reason, to me it smells a bit like bacon but I love bacon. (and the smell fades away).

For years, I have been trying various "natural" deodorants, trying to minimize exposure to aluminum (including alum in the crystal ones) and other toxins, and have had varying results ranging from "OK...most days, at least until afternoon" to flat-out FAIL. I've also experienced persistent rashes with some. I had just about resigned myself to just accepting that this was as good as it gets with natural products but didn't want to give up without trying one more time. I started searching for other options and found the Routine line, which I had never heard of. After reviewing the ingredients, background on the company (having lived near Calgary for 17 years, I'll admit I was a little bit swayed by the idea of supporting a Canadian home-grown business), and reading through many positive reviews, it sounded like it was worth taking a chance so I reluctantly laid down the big bucks for this one. I chose the Sweet Jane Clay & Beeswax formula, and hoped I wouldn't react to the baking soda in it. The scent is delicate but delightful, with light pear and vanilla notes that don't clash with other fragrances. Very wearable, but not a scent that others will notice much, which I prefer in a deodorant. I'd never used a cream before, but didn't find it too difficult to get used to. I keep a tiny cosmetic spatula with it, but that is just personal preference. A little dab will do ya, especially if your skin is very lightly dampened. The first day I tried this, I didn't even give it a second thought until I was getting undressed for bedtime and realized my shirt still smelled as fresh as when I had put it on. Hmmmm...Really?!? WHOA! I usually shower daily, but am convinced that this deodorant may go longer than 24 hours, as I haven't noticed any diminished effect the next morning. I am also very pleased that I haven't had any reaction or rash, and I tend to have very sensitive skin. Overall, I'd put this product in the WINNER category!

Love this brand of deodorant. It does work best out of all the products like it but very expensive. At least it lasts long. This one kind of smells like fall or the holidays.

I bought this mainly for night time. I usually use dove spray deodorant and it was clumping up at night in my sheets and itching me even if I was wearing a shirt. This is very creamy and a little goes a long way. The scent is definitely interesting it’s not sweet like you would think. It’s more of an earthy smell which I figured it would be. After using it for a few weeks at night only after I showered. I became VERY irritated itchy and raw with red bumps on my armpits which I have never had. Threw the entire thing away.

I love using natural deodorant. It's the only one I've tried but I keep coming back because it works for me. Now, I will be honest and say I have a backup of regular deodorant for those really hot, sweaty days. It doesn't cut it for that for me. However, it works really well for every day use and keeps me from getting stinky. Yay!I have tried 3 scents so far, Sweet Jane, Sexy Sadie and now BlackBerry Betty. Blackberry Betty is my least favorite because it's sweet and fruity smelling (not my thing so much) but I bought it because it was the cheapest at the time. I have found that the scent doesn't matter as much to me because after applying, it fades after a bit and I don't notice anymore.I've had this deodorant in really humid places (PNW) and really dry places. The consistency does change. It's much, much softer in humid environments. In drier places you'll have a harder time scooping it out. I actually prefer this because it's easier to control the amount.Overall, great natural deodorant with awesome packaging and branding. Hope they make more scents!

There was a large air bubble in the center of the jar of product. I have been using this deodorant for years and this purchase was only partially filled. Also the jar is smaller but says it is the same amount. I really want to continue using Routine deodorant, but at the price, I don't want to get less.

I purchased two of these deodorant products and assumed that it would work well with sensitive skin. I have been using them for a few months. I had a break out under my arms. I wasn't sure what it was. I took a break from using the deodorant, went to see my dermatologist who made some suggestions to rule it out. Sadly, it is definitely this deodorant. Unfortunately, I have had to keep them in my bathroom to rule it out, which means I am out the refund from Amazon on these two containers. I will add one positive note for those interested in buying this brand. The Sweet Jane and the Blackberry Betty do smell really nice. I purchased the Sweet Jane for winter and the Blackberry Betty for summer and backpacking trips.
