Book was received in a timely manner. Information contained in this book is inspiring as someone is about the enter the public world once again. It gives good information to prepare an individual to seek employment and describes through a positive attitude and persistency there is life after prison.

Absolutely the best resource I have tapped into in the many months of researching online on the how to's, where to's, and possibilities!! I have two God son's who got into trouble together, and I sent them both a copy. Just yesterday, their probation officer contacted me bc they're about to be released and I am their home plan. Anyways, Damion showed him the book and told him it about. He called me up and asked me where I bought it so he could get one too. It is an amazing resource and my God son is planning on donating his to the jail's library cart for future detainees. It truly is a great product and a must have!

Bought this for my loved one just before they were released from detention. They found the book very informative and shared with the group. I guess some of the tips helped because they got a job in less than a week after being released from detention center.

Well written, easy to read, OUTSTANDING suggestions! Far exceeded expectations! This book should be mandatory for anyone struggling to find work. It is so inspiring - so spot on that reading it is actually uplifting and empowering! Highly, highly, highly recommend! This book is worth its weight in gold!

I have been allowing offenders getting ready to release the opportunity to read the book. I wanted to get honest feedback on the book from real offenders. So far, each offender that has read the book has stated that it is extremely helpful. I spoke with one offender who stated that the book assists with staying positive and patient when things get hard and how to not get discouraged. This offender also went so far as to say that it was "one of the best books" he has read related to "getting and keeping a job." Another offender stated that he liked that it assisted with Resumes and Templates; something that he has never done and would not have known how to get started. Being that I've gotten so much positive feedback on the book from several different offenders, I will be requesting more!

This book is so very hopeful and helpful for those leaving prison. It gives practical information and tips in navigating an often difficult process when looking for work with a criminal record. It is easy to use and understand. And even though we are in Canada, almost all of the information translates to our context. We will be using this resource with men who are close to leaving prison to help them prepare and also with those who are on parole.
