Just Like I Remembered! Nostalgia!
What can I say? It's a Magic 8 Ball. And it's just like I remembered them from my youth. Yes, I had to get one for myself again, and I'm 56! The retro style box is a keeper. This is great fun and would make a great gift or collectible.

My new spirit guide
After 42 years of making bad decision I decided to get a Magic 8 ball, call it my spirit guide, and see if my decision making abilities improved at all. I've only had it for a few days and already I have bought a pair of roller skates, dodged a f-boy and attempted to eat 2 pizzas in 1 hour (my kids are enjoying this too 1). Originally this was just until the end of the year because 2020 can't get any worse, RIGHT? I will update the post at the first of the year to let you know how it goes (can you break up with a spirit guide?)

So much fun. I am delighted with my Magic 8 ball.It reads well and is a well crafted piece.I hope to get many magical moments of fun and amazement with it !!!

Same old mystic ball, new and inexpensive materials.
Just as other reviews state, it's not an exact copy of the original Magic 8-Ball composition-wise, though it still serves the same purpose.The faces on the die do indeed develop white "dots" that make the answers slightly harder to read, as I've found this is due to gases releasing inside the reservoir, or air entering in as the fluid leaks out over time, making air bubbles.Despite all this, it's still a fun conversation starter and it will remain on my dresser for the occasional decision or prediction.

Great gift for my teen
What can I say? It's a magic 8 ball. It is easy to read, the float-y thing floats, the liquid isn't too dark to interfere with reading the "fortune". My teen loves it.

Fun Gift!
I bought this particular Magic 8 ball because it was advertised as a Anniversary model. What I got was a bit of plastic in a box neither of which said anything about being an anniversary model. The Magic ball works just like I remembered it. However, the fortunes that it exposes are small and hard to read. Not to mention, the fortune takes a lot of time to show up in the plastic window. I bought this as a fun gift for my husband's birthday. It achieved my goal of being a fun toy from our past. However, it did not meet my total expectations.
