I am rating the purchasing experience. As a product SRAM make amazing gear.So... this is not the first time that this has happened to me or two (2) friends. Long story short - check the box ASAP as you may not actually have gotten what you expected. Inside mine, instead of a sub $500 Eagle cassette was a plastic feeling $30 - $50 one. Someone clearly upgraded their gear for a nice discount.I very often buy stuff and leave it for when needed and would have been absolutely SOL if I hadn't checked. The only reason that I did was because of the bike pr0n aspect with the Eagle and the siren call of Instagram.There's zero excuse acceptable from Amazon on this as the weight should have triggered some alert from their systems before it ever left the warehouse. Most likely a low paid overtly stressed warehouse employee saw a cassette and moved to the next item in their burdened timeline.To SRAM if you are reviewing these.... Take note and address the process.To Amazon. Toodles. I'll not be leveraging this purchasing pathway and instead shall be fully supporting my local shops. The refund as an Amazon credit vs to my CC was the final straw. You need me. I don't need you anymore.
