It works so Fantastic for our 17 year old Lab to help her get up!

This harness has saved my back. My 13 and a half year old collie has a chronic leg injury and often needs help getting up. She also frequently needs help stabilizing when she defecates. The velcro closure on the harness holds it securely in place and the handles are adjustable so that I can adjust them for my height. I usually leave it on her during the day and sometimes at night. She doesn't seem bothered by it at all. I bought a second one so that I will always have one to use while the other one is in the wash.One caution: I would probably not leave it on my dog at night if she didn't sleep right beside me, so that I would instantly know if the handle should become caught on something. I also wouldn't leave it on if I were going to be gone from the house for any length of time.

My Sally was sick and unable to get up on her own here at the end. I had to let her go 4/2/24. She was very weak and this was a great helper when I had to lift her. It was soft padding and it was wide enough to be comfortable for her. The straps were strong too. Good value for the money too.

Works but have issues with handles and staying in place.

I am glad I chose this item among numerous other options. This was intended for our XL dog after his back leg surgery to help go up and down the stairs ( 2nd floor). What appeared to be really helpful is that it as velcro that fixes harness after wrapping around the dog's body. We also liked that there is attachable soft insert included. However be aware that it is not 100% safe to rely on this harness when supporting your pet on steep stairs because the dog can slip from it ( nothing would hold it in place in front or from the back). We used in addition another walking harness that has the shoulder support and handle on top to hold the dog from slipping when he was going down the stairs.

This works very well in helping me with my older dog make it out for her potty visits as she can’t quite make it when she first gets up. Seems to be very well made and durable. Stitched well, good material, easy to hang on to handle.

We bought this sling for our 60lb lab for the 2mo recovery from her TPLO surgery. Features we liked were the adjustable handles, and the super soft liner (removable and washable). An additional perk was the reflective thread stitching making the sling visible at night. Comes on and off very easily and doggie didn't object once to being supported under the belly while going out to take care of 'business'. Hopefully won't need it again (CCL tears are often expected in the other knee eventually) but at least we have it. Would buy another if I had to.
