Purchased for vacation to keep shoes dry. Worked great for sneakers. Water repellent even in heavy downpour.

Product is effective. Smell isnt over bearable. After all, it is a silicone spray so you still get some fumes. Spray in a room with well ventilation or outside. I sprayed my sectional indoors. I have a 10 foot sectional and one 13.5 oz can is enough to do one complete coat with a light second coat to the backing and cushions. Smell diminishes after about 2 hours. Just leave windows open and a fan on. Water repellent works great. Got it mainly for oil based dirt protection. This video is with 2 coats.

I’ve used this stuff on all of my winter shoes and jackets forever. Works really well.
