The World Game - Geography Card Game - Educational Board Game for Kids, Family & Adults - Learning Game for Teenage Boys & Girls

This is mostly a review of the seller (The world game store) as I did not get the chance to test the game yet. I had a delivery problem (Royal Mail did not bother to leave me a card/note when they delivered to my neighbour) and the seller was really supportive, even offered to replace the game for free. Found it in the end, so there was no need, but it's a good attitude from the seller. About the game now, it seems well made, good quality. Very simple rules, it's basically a top trumps game, but highly educational, with a twist (the option to make a challenge) which is a nice idea to spice up a bit the classical top trumps. The map could have been a bit thicker, maybe cardboard instead of paper, as the game carries a premium price, but otherwise it's a great small box, easy to carry if need travelling, well made. I assume good for 8+ kids for learning some geography, and also interesting small facts about each country. I wish they had printed the map/shape of the country next to the flag, but for that I got a separate different item, also I printed my own country shapes cards, with the country name on the back, for a different own made-up game.

Great game, my family and I love it. The only downside is that some of the questions become boring (four key points are the highest point, population, neighboring countries and area) and the challenge questions can be difficult for younger children. Other than this it's great.

Son thoroughly enjoys playing this game. Educational and fun. Easy to play.

A very colourful learning aid. A good family game

Bought his for my son for Christmas and he loves it. He loves everything about countries and this game just is a perfect fit for him. It’s very easy to understand and you can play with 2 or more players. He loves the facts on the countries like population and area and it’s a really challenging to him to remember all the flags incase he gets challenged during the game. Throughly enjoying playing this with him. Great value for money

The game does not teach geography, it doesn't even utilize the supplied map. The premise of the game is to see if your card has a 'higher value' than your opponents - along the same lines as the game "Snap". We returned the game for a full refund.

Excellent product. I actually purchased this game because I am trying to educated myself on Countries, Capitals and Flags. This is an excellent tool. I am going to get the map copied and laminated so that I can leave it flat on my coffee table. I am sure I will make use of it as a game when the youngsters come and visit. By the way I am 80 years so never too old to learn.

Very informative to kids but needs an adult to facilitate the game and the learning itself. Highly recommended tool.
