Cooper Discoverer STT Pro All-Season LT315/70R17 121/118Q Tire

Quiet and rugged. I was super leiry of buying tires on line. These tires are amazing. Very little if any road noise. Went from 265 to 315. Felt very little loss of power. The difference on the trails were significant. These tires bite and release the mud better than I could have imagined. Absolutely love the look, agility, and off road capabilities. Would highly recommend. I have tried uploading a picture but it won't let me. Anywho. They are amazing

My first set of the Discovery STT Pro lasted approximately 42,000 miles and still had enough tread to go another year. I decided to swap out my old tires because they have been on my Jeep for almost 10 years and due to an alignment issue there was some cupping. The new tires are amazing. There is very little road noise and the Jeep handles very well. I think as these tires wear out the road noise will increase (I believe this has been typical of other tires I've had on my previous Jeep). Overall I am very happy with the previous tread life of these tires and impressed with their on-road performance.

The tires are excellent for rock crawling, playing in the mud and sand excellent traction on gravel roads deep snow and slush. So far I have driven 6,000 highway miles on them and they still have the nipples on the tires. You must rotate them every 6,000 miles. And make sure they're still balanced.Downside is even though the tires are factory syped slowing down on wet roads and ice is terrible but you expect those two things when you order mud tires that's not made for either of those things for stopping power.

Been running these for about 5,000 miles and they are holding up Great! Much quieter than expected, no sliding in the rain like the stock tires, balanced well and great value for these tires. They run smooth but the only difference I noticed was losing approx 1 mpg. But for the value and performance, I'll take it.

I live in Alaska, they shipped here on prime delivery at 65 bucks cheaper per tire than in the shop. They will do a ton of crazy off roading this summer. Amazing tires. Track well in rain, haven't tried snow as I usually run a dedicated snow tire but will be great for the shoulder season.

Disclaimer: all my statements will be comparing them to other AT/MT tires I've owed.These are the best. They have incredible grip on wet pavement compared to my other tires. Amazing on rock, sand, mud. Ice is a different thing. Driven on passs with compact ice and snow with no issues in my 2011 4runner. There are better things for that but they surprised me. WAYYY better than my last 2 sets. I applaud their silica compound engineers.Very low noise for the aggressive tred. Even ware so far but I'm only 3k into them.10ply makes these heavy and hit my gas tank hard but I think a re-gear to 4.56 will help that. Unsprung weight is real!

While I have used Cooper Discover STT Pros in the past and loved their performance, for whatever reason, my recent purchase of 4 tires (37x13.50r17) had 2 good tires, and 2 bad tires. By bad tires, I mean severely out of round tires that refused to balance, no matter the method or skill. I spent several hundred dollars taking the tires to get rebalanced, but they are unable to perform as desired. They cause extreme vehicle shake and shudder and highway speeds. Very unfortunate.Upon communicating thus to the seller, I was informed that the seller does not cover manufacturing defects, and that I would need to provide inspections done by their specific tire installation shops to gather a reports, and then send those to the manufacturer to try and claim a warranty return. (Which I'm told Cooper does not warranty this off road tires).So, while I'm disappointed in the batch of tires I've received, I'm even more disappointed in the seller and their lack of willingness to rectify a faulty product.
