Very happy with this. I have been searching for something like this for a long time to not scratch up my sides or wear an undershirt in 120degree weather or scratch up my clothing. While it does widen the grip just a tad, good practice will re-acclimate your grip.It does take some sweat and patience to get it on and over the “hump”, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing from there. Again, just be patient and take your time to get it on. Don’t forget to lock it in place and store your old grip backplate just in case you ever need it again.Great product.

This grip makes me want to carry this pistol more often. Had some trouble getting it on though but when I did hears what i did.1. Lube grip with something like water.2. Put grip on tell it can't go any further.3. Rotate/ twist grip on the pistols grip until the square retainer nub is in the square hole.4. Push on the grip to further fit.

After reading the raving reviews and understanding the difficult task that it can be to install. I wasn't looking forward to the struggle of putting this bad boy on. So I waited a couple days to mentally prepare(i.e. I was working everyday and didn't want to get passed off ar my gun). I preheated the oven to 170, mines lowest setting, and put the grip in as it preheated. Grabbed my eye glass cleaner, while I waited. As soon as the preheat buzzer went off, I sprayed the exposed grip on my M&P 2.0. Grabbed the grip cover out of the oven. It slid right down. Then I pulled on the back slightly to get the locking nub in place. Pulled forward to get the finger grooves in place. Boom I was done. Less than 30 seconds of actually fiddling with it outside of the oven time. Sweet looking and much better grip feel. Thanks Hogue!!

I figured I would try this "sleeve" out. I am not a fan of slip on grips but this one actually uses the frame helping it to remain in place. I decided to put this on my M&P 45. You read that correctly, M&P 45! It took all of 60 seconds to install, no heat, no oil, no soap...just a small pry tool to aid the locking tab slip past the end of the handle. IMO, the size feels somewhere in between the medium and large factory backstrap. I love Hogue grips in general but this one is exceptional! I didn't want to stipple my factory frame or put grip tape on that eventually will have to be replaced. I wear I XXL work love and this fits my hands well, if you have medium hands it might feel too large. I will be taking this to the range to explore any differences in my accuracy, not the weapons accuracy, and felt recoil. I would imagine both will improve as I feel more in control and POA feels more consistent. Over all I would say this is a 10 out of 10 for me, but grips and feel are all shooter preference. It's worth a $10.00 gamble if you think you might need some extra texture and grip before messing around with grip tape and stippling.

Best grips out there

I bought this to give me an even more ergonomic feel than the M&P 9mm already had to offer. Install took a few minutes, defintely needed to put a bit of work into getting it on. Doesnt simply slide over, you remove the back strap and the Grip sleeve here has a "catch" on the inside to secure it into the grip so it doesnt slide up and down. Stays in place very well, never moves. I want to try the stock grip on the pistol again and see what it does for my performance but I am hesitant given that it will be a production to remove this sleeve. Positive is that it is very secure however.Great feel to it, softish rubber, great finger grooves on the front, fits well in the hand all around. it is definitely bigger in the hand than the large backstrap on the M&P. If you have bigger hands you will definitely appreciate it but no matter what it is bound to feel good in the hands. Great value, only issue is my hands sweat a bit after shooting for some time and the grip doesnt bode well with the moisture (which is why I bought it in the first place). Simple wipe of the hands will provide a few mintues of relief however, much better than the stock grips + sweat.This grip probably won't be for everyone, but for me it has a great feel to it and looks good. Very happy with it thus far.

This grip has saved several of my sports jackets. I work in investigations and I need to use jackets regularly. The standard grip on my S&W was tearing up jacket linings and scraping my arm. It was very abrasive which was great for grip, but not ideal for daily use. This rubberized grip is solid and ergonomic. I recommend warming it up and making it pliable because it's tough to get on, but it works great. I have them on both pistols I own.

Grips are larger than the "large" size backstrap that comes with the S&W M&Ps. The grip has a slight hump on both sides which adds to its width, so definitely not made for smaller hands.The main issue is once the grips are installed, they are impossible to remove without destroying the grips. This is fine if you intend to install the grips permanently. As for me, I wanted to take mine off and the grips ripped.
