Power Systems Pro Olympic Plate Black

If you've got an Olympic bar, you need a set of 45 pound plates to impress yourself and your friends, even if you haven't built up to benching that much yet. These are perfectly good 45 pound plates, and a good value, which is how I picked them.

I was looking for "deep dish" style olympic weight plates (2 inch hole diameter). These are sold as single plates so you need to order two to get a pair. They are smooth on the back and around the top. The center hole is also smooth. They did NOT arrive in perfect condition, but I accepted that they would be slightly imperfect for iron plates (the shipping box is basic and they are not overly protected; there were slight scuffs and paint imperfections). What I like most about these plate is how easy they are to carry and load. The edge/lip is wider (deep dish) and that makes carrying them easier than regular weight plates. They are also fairly accurate for the described weight. Overall I am very pleased with them. I did eventually order other weight sizes to have a complete set.

The plates got delivered in incredible time and were the same as in the description. They seem to work just fine.I lift them up then put them back down, pretty much they're only function.... I wanted old school metal weights not the stupid rubber ones like in all the common gyms today and thats what i got. I would buy these again if i had too.

They are perfectly good 5lb plates. As expected.

They are just painted metal weights and they work. I didn't bother to check their actual weight to see if it's off. I haven't noticed any asymmetry so why bother? I would buy these again if I had to.

The inside rim of the outside ring is too sharp (unless you're wearing gloves) and has to be ground off a little and then touched up with black spray paint. Not a big thing. Just something to know.
