I will alter this pattern...
What surprised me is that this pattern is printed on thick paper. It is nice for my needs and will save me having to transfer the final fitted pattern I use to paper. But---for the price, to receive one shirt with only minor options for a varied look, is a bit pricey, at $15 for a pattern. So, if you will use a Style Arc pattern for many of the same shirts, say in different prints, or use some as a blouse, and attach others to a skirt to form a dress, perhaps this price point would be a good investment. But I will be altering this pattern quit a bit, so in the end, I still may have to transfer the final fit pattern to clean paper, so I am not sure the price justifies the higher quality paper. A little disappointed in that. Plus, the views on the front of the package for this blouse are tough to discern which are the front and which are the back view. They don't make it obvious since this blouse it basically a sheet with armhole, and not tailored around the bust or waist. I will adapt the rolled collar to be split, off-center in the front with perhaps small buttons (later adding a broach--ooo la la), tailored sleeves and darting to give it shape so that it will look closer to a 1950's cut. That is my end goal, so at the end of the day, I can buy actually 1950's patterns with several shirt options for about 2/3 of the price of this pattern. Lesson learned. I guess the item was as described, but just not a good value from my perspective.

I think it would look nice on a lot of body types
This is simple to make (except as noted a fiddly bit at the neck). I think it would look nice on a lot of body types. For the high neck version, you really need a knit that has some substance and little drape. I did it in a sweatshirt knot and fairly stable sweater knit. The neck band version may accommodate flowy knits. It does assume you don't need a lot of construction guidance. It is all there but it doesn't hold your hand. A really nice pattern I plan to keep making.

Beautiful pattern but no instructions.
The shirt turned out beautifully. The paper is thick and does not require transferring to another paper. However, there are little to no instructions so beginners may struggle.

Fast and fun! Haven't made the long sleeve yet
Not a favorite from Stylearc. I love every pattern from them I have, but notnthis one. The collar fits strangely. It is a very easy sew, but not happy with the results.

Wonderful pattern and a very fast top to construct
Wonderful pattern and a very fast top to construct. I cut out and finished it completely during my 6 month olds nap! In fact I'm wearing it now. Please continue to stock StyleArc patterns - there's no comparison!
