Panasonic ES-RT37 Wet and Dry Rechargeable Electric 3-Blade Shaver for Men (100-240 V)

I thought I would try a change to my usual make of electric shaver which I won't mention but a good brand. The first difference I noticed upon switching on was that it sounded a slightly faster motor and powerful. The cut is very good even not using as a wet & dry. Obviously only time will tell on how long the cutters stay sharp but I do believe they're stainless steel and the design looks like you can replace just the cutters cheaply. They aren't built into an expensive head. Now the battery really is good. It just goes and goes much further than my past shavers so corners have definitely not been cut with the quality of the battery. The shape of the shaver is very comfortable to hold and the sides have a nice rubbery feel.The quality of shave and closeness to the skin exceeds more expensive ones I've had and you don't have to press hard and make your skin sore to obtain a close shave either. From the details I read before purchase it seems Panasonic have pride in the care of sharpening and angles used on their cutters and who knows better than the Japanese on the art of producing exceptional blades.The price for such a nice quality shaver as this is truly outstanding and I'm glad I decided to try a Panasonic.

I love this shaver. Comfortable to hold, shaves closely and quickly. No grazing of skin even on top lip. Charges quickly.On the downside, as others have noted, the battery will just die on you with no notice. The blue low power light comes on then a few seconds later the shaver stops. Unfortunate that it will not work whilst plugged in as you have to either go out half shaved or get out the wet gear. I find the plastic guard a bit clunky. At the rate the hairs are falling out of the little brush, I will soon need to buy a soft toothbrush to clean it.Despite these little faults, I really do like the shaver and well worth the four stars.

I've had many electric and battery shavers over the years, foil and rotary. I've used various razors too, including those 5-blade top-brand jobs.... and this Panasonic, though it doesn't quite beat a wet shave with a top razor (and I do mean doesn't quite beat it), is the best electric/battery shaver I've had.I have a tough beard, as in my whiskers will destroy even the most expensive razors within 4-5 shaves tops, yet this shaver has carried on performing for two years now. I bought a 4-pack of my favourite razor heads at the same time as I bought this, and I still have them unopened on my bathroom window sill!This Panasonic hasn't nicked me ever, its battery lasts for a week to ten days shaving every day, is easy to keep clean as I just run it under warm water so it can blast out the shavings, and it's not lost its sharpness.General results are often as good as my razors too, having had plenty of practice with it. It shaves close enough to look and feel smooth, even after a couple of days growth. The first foil makes a start, the comb chops the long stuff, the second foil knocks off whatever's left! If I take as long as a wet shave it is basically as good, and having not bought a pack of razor heads every month for the past two years, in fact having not bought any (and that is no exaggeration) it has more than paid for itself.When I bought this I recall it being on offer, about the £30 mark, but either way it's excellent value for money given the savings on razors and how well it shaves.A top shaver, and if this one packs up I'll be getting another! Panasonic used to be a well respected brand from audio to household items. That respect has now gone with this shaver. It shaves ok-ish. No complaints at all there. Seems sturdy and well built. I only get 2-3 shaves per charge which in anyone's terms is pretty useless. It seems to discharge itself when not being used either that or it isn't charging in the first place. When I plug it in the all red lights come on then go out again after a short period. I assume that's it charged and take it off. The blue lights never light up . It wont work with the cable attached. The damn thing just switches itself off with no warning what a waste of money if you have any sense buy another brand as this one is not fit for purposewrote and complained as only had been using it on and off for 7 months the company just not interested .

Overall, a very good shaver with a bad battery system. The shave is very smooth and close -this is indeed a £100+ quality shaver, which has been for sale at a quarter of that price for quite a while. However it has a battery drain issue: the battery drains on its own when the device is off. I am ok with that, I just plan ahead, charge it and then shave, knowing that in a week if I don't charge it again it won't even turn on, but understandably that can be a deal breaker for many -hence the 3 stars. Even with this flaw, if you see it for £25 -that's a steal and well worth it. You won't fight anything comparable, shave quality wise, for that money.

So this is the first time in 39yrs of shaving that I've strayed from remington shavers! Always in the past been pleased with them. But the last one i bought a few weeks ago has to be returned, terrible! Literally tugged hairs out causing bleeding. So, I looked seriously too replace with a different brand, and after research and reviews I chose this Panasonic model.I am very impressed! It's light, but feels good quality, cuts the hairs effortlessly, no pain or irritation even against the grain. So far i have only praise for this product. And such a great price!

Excellent shaver, not as close a shave as a razor but I cannot complain, I’m very happy with it, I had to purchase it because of an minor operation on my right hand and being a right handed shaver who uses a Razor I was unable to shave, so after a bit of research I picked this Panasonic ES-RT37 wet/Dry rechargeable shaver what a great shaver does a good job & easy to use with my left hand. Charges up quickly and it feels good in the hand. I definitely recommend this shaver
