Truly remarkable strings.
These remarkable strings are mellow, warm, and beautifully balanced. The bass is thrilling. The extra hard tension brought out the best of my Taylor 814 CE Nylon string guitar. Best of all, these strings allow me to play in Drop D and DADGAD tuning without building custom sets as I have done in the past. Most classical and jazz crossover guitars simply cannot do it with normal or even hard tension without a custom set, and even then it's a compromise. If you want to bring out all your guitar has to offer and shakeup your playing style, the extra hard tension is the way to go. Try DADGAD on a nylon string guitar to broaden your sonic horizon. It's a wow!

My Go-to Classical Strings
This set of strings is the perfect tone and quality I look for in titanium trebles and the long life coating for the bass strings really do last a good long time. The Best bang for your buck. They feel great like traditional strings and easy to play. They look amazing on my guitar

Upgrade your Classical Guitar simply and inexpensively!
A Classical guitar's strings do degrade with age and frequency of use..and I had not noticed the lack of brilliance. The D'Addario XT strings have made my guitar young again! They are widely known and respected for their quality, smoothness and sustain. I've replaced my old strings and immediately enjoyed easier left-hand shifts up the fretboard with less string sliding noise, much longer sustain and a bright sound, especially in the high range. This is the brand I intend to stick with from now on!

Good sounding strings and worth the extra money.
I have two classical guitars, one in regular tuning and the other I leave in drop D tuning. I put new strings on both guitars about 2 months ago. I put the EJ45's on one (because I wasn't sure I would keep it) and these XTC45's on the other. I think I play them about the same amount but the EJ's are already sounding flat while the XTC's still sound as bright and clear as when they were new. I paid $6 more for the XTC's. Both sets held their tune very quickly sounded good at the beginning but the less I have to change strings the better. I have tried other brands of strings but the D'Addario are consistently higher quality and have never slipped or broken like others have.

Sharp Sound
This is a great product. I had a Havendi set before and my comparison is based on my experience with that set. This set has a louder sound, but the sound is sharper and more lasting. I mean you can hear the resonance for a longer period and it is sharper. The Havendi had a warmer and more classical style sound although the sound was not as powerful as this one. Excuse my lack of knowledge and not using the technical terminology, I just wanted to share my experience as a newbie. I think this is a better set for Jazz or Flaminco style, but not the best choice for classical style, and that is totally my opinion, others may say that I am totally wrong. As far as the quality of the product, it is great.

Good but the basses are different
These strings last! I teach and gig so I’m playing my classical multiple hours every day. I used to change my strings every 4 weeks. I’ve had them one for about 6 and haven’t noticed any drop off. With that said, the basses are not as bright as new non coated. They sound like basses that are already played in some, which I like, but surprised me

It does last long
These strings have been on mu guitar for a little bit over half a year and still produce decent tone. The low strings have no rust at this point though they are not as shining as they used to be. Its tone is not surprisingly charming, just like most of the other strings you can get at this price. For reference I am not professional musician and I usually play ~20 mins per day averagely.
