Thud Rumble: Frosted Butter Rugs - Beedle with Tag (Pair)

Been using butter rugs for over a decade. If you are learning to scratch and have never used butter rugs, this makes a huge difference. Makes rapid record movement easier on the muscles involved and allows for complex manipulation at high speeds. Can't go wrong with these.

I use these with Stanton T.92 turntables. While the turntables don't have a ton of torque, I expected these Butter Rugs to get me better separation from the platter. I have some Butter Rugs with the separate plastic sheet at home and they are much better (although they are used on Stanton T.120s, which have a lot more torque). Anyways, these get the job done but I would have to recommend putting some plastic underneath or getting the slip mats that have a thin felt sheet and a plastic sheet. I believe the multiple sheets help the separation between record and platter.

Great slip mats, perfect for scratching. The sellers charging a $100 for them have lost their minds. I got mine for about $25 before they went up.

I ordered these directly from Thud Rumble. I own a Vestax PDX 2000 MKII Pro and a Technics SL-1200 MK2 and they work great on both turntables. Obviously, the response is slightly faster on the Vestax because of the increased torque. These will definitely help out your scratching, just watch out for those heavy hands.
