You Need These Clips!
Anyone who puts up lights for the holidays knows how much of a pain in the "you know what" it is the string up said holiday lights. I grew up with a family tradition of putting up a very large light display for the holidays and now that I have my own house I decided to continue the tradition in my family in putting up a very large light display for the holidays. Back when I was a child my parents would use cup hooks, nails, screws, and even staples to hang up holiday lights on to the house. The issue there is that because all those fasteners I had mentioned eventually corrode and rust away and then having to now replace them with new said types of fasteners, it just adds to the frustration on getting Holiday lights strung up. Never mind the possibilities of said fasteners damaging the wiring which causes all kinds of potential hazards. But look out, here are a set of clips that you could use on your holiday lights and not have to worry about them corroding away or possibly damaging your wiring for the holiday lights. If you are like me who puts up thousands of lights up each year for the holidays, you definitely "need these clips"!Now the review.Upon opening up the package, these clips look very small and they look like they may not even do the trick. But don't let the size fool you because these clips are definitely well made, sturdy and for the most part relatively easy to use and install. The best thing is that they are reusable and at the end of the season you can take them down and put them back in the storage bag and use them for the following year. This is my second year using these clips and I am beyond satisfied on how they hold up and how well they hold my holiday lights. The previous set of clips I had kept on popping out specially during a windy day or a moderate rain storm, but last year I did not want have to go back on to the ladder to reattach my lights to the eaves of my house. All you have to do is clip them on the roof shingles on the edge of the roof and then clip in the wire leads of the lights onto them, whallah the lights are strung up.If there is any downside to this particular style of clips, is that you do have to lift the roofing shingles just a little bit in order for you to slide the clip onto the shingles. The other thing is that these clips will only work on the asphalt roofing shingles. This will not work on a barrel roof or a tile roof. They may work on a tin roof, but I never tried it on that style of roofThe Recap. The bottom line is, these clips absolutely make it a lot easier to string up holiday lights on to your house. Give them a try and I'm pretty sure you're going to be satisfied.

Holds well, if you install them correctly. Works on the drip edge of a metal roof.
This work fine. I think the issue that some reviewers point out is due to installation issues. I used these to install strings of Christmas lights (with stars) on a metal roof. The clips worked well, by tucking the clips into the drip edge. I bought way more than I need, because I spaced the clips about 8" apart - which worked well. The clips held well in the wind and I plan to use them again next year. I would say these are a great product, especially for the cost.

They are small but seem to stand up very well!
My husband and grandson put up our lights and they work very well with asphalt shingles and they also put lights around our covered patio and they work very well with the metal roof! So far so good! We have had several very windy days and none have come loose yet! When we first opened them we thought they were too small but they ended up being perfect!!

No Damage or Holes, Hangs Lights Easy
Slips really easily over the top of your gutter, no issues during installation. After you get all the clips in place, you can start hanging your lights by pushing the bulb or wire into the circle ring. You cannot tell that your lights are being held up by these clips and they look good once done. These are a good value for the money. They were not very expensive for the quantity. There is absolutely no damage during use so it's great if you live in a HOA where they do not want you putting holes on the exterior. These are not permanent and there are so many in the bag you can just throw them away each time and use new ones.If you are looking to hang your lights somewhere that is not a gutter, I would look for a more ideal product as these did not seem very versatile when trying to use other places.

The perfect clip!
The clips were a perfect size to attach to our gutters. It made adding lights to the edge of our house easy. The clips were small and inexpensive. I purchased two bags but we only used one for our one story house. I might even leave them up after we remove the lights after the holiday since the clips are so small. Great product!

Incredibly Small Clip
These clips don't work too well on thick gutters and anything thinner than mine are probably flimsy and may not want to have things hanging off them to begin with. It my case, they BARELY clip onto a mesh guard I have installed over my gutters. The mesh is standard sized and some places were too thick to attach to but I got it to work. At least I hope it'll work through the season and not fall.

Perfect for Gutters!
The clips fit well on my gutter, holds my Christmas lights in place and I have the heavy ornament type lights and these clips had no issue with holding the weight of the lights during heavy windy and rainy days.
