I only use Mettler silk finish thread for my quilting needs. It is the perfect thread for me, as it does not shrink nor fade and gives top stitching a beautiful finish.

Don't bother
Although this is very good thread, don't bother to order the 5 pack. You won't get it. I placed an order for the 5 pack and received it on Monday. Or, at least I received 1 spool of thread. I initiated a replacement and dropped it off at UPS this morning. Guess what I got today? 1 spool of thread. Good grief. How hard is it to count to 5?? I didn't even bother to open the package. I have initiated a refund and will drop off the 1 spool of thread at UPS tomorrow. So disappointing!

The weight and smooth of the thread is perfect for piecing quilts. It is my favorite thread for this and the price for the multi pack was terrific!
