So I’m going to embarrass myself here because I did the thing, forgot to put the bilge plug in before dropping my boat in the water. I have a new engine and when I installed it I replaced the bilge pump with one of these. So I dropped my boat in, parked the trailer and walked back to the boat dock only to see water shooting out of the flood relief valve and I instantly knew what I had done! I ran back to my van and hurried the trailer back down, loaded my boat and back up to the prep area. I ripped the dog house open only to find that my engine was absolutely dry top to bottom! I’m gonna say that this little auto pump saved my boat and my pride!! (not my ego though!) awesome reliable product and I’m buying a second one to install just for peace of mind!

I have to water over 40 trees during the dry season here. I use this as part of a contraption I put in my cart to pump the water out on the trees.

Ceased working after 3 months. Amazon and the vendor refuse to even hold a discussion about replacing it. Long time boater, never had a similar pump last less than 5 years. Quality was shaky from the start. The float switch was always balky & it was not uncommon for it to fail to kick on when required. When to make sure it pumped out the boat after a hard rain, only to find the boat half full of water - and in danger of sinking - with the pump full submerged. All electric circuits were fine. THE PUMP HAD FAILED COMPLETELY. IN 3 MONTHS. DO NOT BUY. HORRIBLE PRODUCT. MAY CAUSE YOUR BOAT TO SINK. ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. THEY REFUSE TO STAND BY THE PRODUCT.

It started out rough some time it would come on and not shut off. Then it started working correctly. Then one day I went out fishing and it never came on. I found out the pump motor locked up causing me to almost sink my boat. This pump was 1 year old, I had to buy another one to replace this bad one.

Product does well and what it’s intended to do. Good value for the money spent

I had a Rule Mate 500 that never kicked on automatically. I replaced it with another rule mate 500 and that pumps' automatic switch never turned on either. So I installed the Oasis Marine pump and it works great. The float turns on the pump when the water level rises just like it's suppose to. So now I can leave the boat at the slip and not worry about it taking on water.

I bought this for the shower bilge on my yacht. Works great!!
