Q: The pictures shows that the heat goes up to 1500W but the descriptions says 750, which is correct?

Looked it up the manufacturer web site..Two heat settings..375/750 degrees.

Q: Does anyone know the noise level on the two settings? I need to drown out my roommates.

This Model is pretty Loud. I got one from Ace Hardware Last week, & I need to Return because it just too loud.

Q: Can this be plugged into a power strip?

NEVER plug a space heater into a power strip. Don't use an extension cord or a power strip, even if it's a heavy-duty one. Extension cords and strips are not designed to handle the high electric current of a space heater. The heater is too powerful for them and can start a fire or melt them.
