Outstanding Value, Impressive Quality
First, this is a new updated version. I checked many reviews, but those pictures are different previous Version. I got a different new version at a very cheap price. You can't find a better projector under $100. I didn't think it would be super good because it was cheap, but wow, I was wrong. This one is so good.If you want to find a super bright projector in the living room, you should try to find a 2000 lumens+ $1000 epson. This is not bright in the living room. But if you just want a cheap one in your bedroom at night, this one is 95% the same as a $1000 Epson. No major different. . The colors look great, and everything is sharp because it's 1080P – that's like what you see on a nice flat-screen TV.One of the best things is that it doesn't make a lot of noise. Some projectors sound like a fan blowing, but this one is super quiet. I can watch a whole movie and barely hear it. You can plug in all sorts of things into this projector because it has lots of spots for cables like HDMI and USB. I've hooked up my game console and watched movies from my computer, and it always works great. It is so easy to use an iPhone to project screen. It's very cool to use this to play Tiktok!

Great projector for the money
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for use on our covered back porch and are loving it. Hung a pull-down screen on one wall and have the projector on a tripod. It is plenty bright at night and even during daylight when the sun is on the opposite side of the house, once the sun gets to the back side, it is much more washed out and you lose some detail but that is to be expected. We've also used it inside in the evening and again, as long as there isn't a ton of sunlight, the picture is good even with some room lighting on. The manual focus and keystone adjustments work well. The built in speaker is good if you are within 8-10 feet but we tend to run a cord from the headphone jack to a spare input on our stereo and get great sound that way. The projector works great with our firestick plugged into one of the HDMI ports or using a laptop for input. The fan is noticeable if you are just sitting there listening for it with nothing else on but once the movie starts it is not an bother at all for us. The remote works well and is great for adjusting volume. I found setting the contrast up and brightness down a bit on the manual setting was better for us than one of the presets, but that will be personal preference. While certainly portable, this is not a small projector but the carrying case is nice and fits everything well. The attached video really doesn't do justice to the picture quality at all but ... that's kind of what you get when you video a video. Over all very happy with this in the short time we've had it so far.

Pretty nice and reasonably bright
I found this to be a very good projector. The images are outstanding. I wish it had more range with the keystone adjustment. Build quality is excellent. But about brightness.....I estimated the ANSI Lumens using a calibrated incident light meter. My result was 324 ANSI lumens which is actually pretty good for a low cost projector. The large number of lumens is for the lamp alone. But we're more concerned with how much light arrives on the screen after it has been turned into an image. This process is surprisingly inefficient. Here's a rough rule-of-thumb. Take the power input to the projector (in this case measured 145 watts). Subtract about 20 watts for fans and electronics. Multiply the result by 80 lumens/watt. The very, very best LEDs get about 100, so this is a good number for most projection lamp sources. This type of projector (single LCD, white LED) is about 5% efficient. That's right, only 5% of the light from the LED arrives at the screen. Thus the projector is about 120 watts * 80 lumens/watt * 0.04 efficiency = 384 lumens. Not a bad estimate based on my measurement of 324.So in evaluating white LED single LCD projectors, the power input is your best estimate for how bright it really is.If you see a projector advertising 4 digits of lumens and it's under $300, you're looking at lumens from the lamp without anything in-between. ANSI lumens is what you care about. That's measured at the screen. You'll see LED lumens. Basically that is ANSI lumens multiplied by 2.4.Bottom line is that this is an excellent projector for the price. I doubt that any of the more expensive projectors will be that much brighter, but they may have nicer features like better keystone adjustments. This projector will work fine when you want to view it in a dark room or use it for your AtmosFX animations (it will keep repeating videos you've stored in a USB folder). To get a brighter projector, you'll probably want to look at DLP or 3LCD designs. The most cost effective will use an actual lamp.Additional: I got the projector on Oct 21, 2021 and immediately put it to work on our Halloween display. It's now running 5 hrs/night doing our Christmas display which will run for a few more weeks. The projector is still working fine. I plan to put a few hours on this projector and will report back from time to time with my results.Uploaded is a photo of our Halloween display. The projector was used in the upper bedroom. Unfortunately the ghost blew away the brightness on the photo.
