Betty Crocker Hearty Four Cheese Potatoes, 4.7 oz (Pack of 7)

I purchased these of a friend who feeds a family of 9 and I help with shelf stable pantry items as I can. These are very tasty as packaged mashed potatoes go. Easy to prepare and tasty!  The four cheese is one of their favorite flavors. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.  I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Nothing beats homemade… however when you don’t have time or the desire to make homemade, these are a great alternative.Don’t worry if when you make this it appears soupy. If you followed the proportions, it will thicken up.Tip: I make mine with all milk and no water.

These are very convenient to keep around for the days between running out of regular potatoes, and the next grocery store run. As long as the price stays at grocery store price, I will continue to buy these here - because I spend more time here than any grocery store, and convenience is key..So is variety. Keep the price low and offer variety, and I will happily continue purchasing this product here.

Very convenient when you don't want to spend a lot of time cooking . These can also be used as a thickener for soups , mashed cauliflower etc.

So happy I can still get this online taste just as good as homemade

I've come to like anything that is fast to fix! I had never even tried instant mashed potatoes until I was about 32 and first met my husband. Introduced me to a lot of fast and easy to prepare food. Shame, but thanks, to him! With my middle age introduction to these foods, even Hamburger Helper (hadn't tried that before either!) I could at least prepare one part of the dinner meal with speed. I just loved instant mashed potatoes, even more than real potatoes, that I wasn't a big fan of anyways. Kids always said that my real mashed potatoes were the best ever and when they started leaving home, I had to show them and often their spouses, how to make them! My big secret was plenty of pepper! Bizarre to say, but I truly do love instant mashed potatoes, especially the ones with flavors. A few packs are always in my pantry!
