Great cooler dropped my trans temp by 30 degrees on hard hills, had it for 2 years then decided to update the lines and it being in a really hard spot to get to couldn't get a second wrench on the cooler and snapped the top off, other then install errors been great, bought a second one to replace it

Working well. Installed in place of factory cooler 4l60e z71 Tahoe. Rebuilt the transmission so I’m not taking any chances. Convenient holes for bracket mockups. Riveted mine in and hacked the factory bracket to do so. Compact enough. Miles of room in 03 and up gmt800 to put any size you want. Hold half a quart over stock by itself not counting bigger AN lines. I’m pleased as long as it doesn’t blow out

haven’t officially used it yet but i’ve heard great things about this company. i ended up buying one of their mounts as well and it was relatively easy to mount up with no custom fabrication ( would fit nice if you are capable of making a bracket specific for your application ) but for nothing custom it gets the job done. perfect size and fit for the car and it’s a good price. it having -an fittings has definitely made it much easier to use and will be easy to hook up to my transmission.

Works good so far. The 10 row is kinda small for a ford 400. I should have gotten one twice the size. Also It didn't drop the temperature as much as I hoped, but it did give me better idle temperature and pressure. I made my own mounting system, kind of a pain but it's solid. So the install was not easy.

This stacked plate transmission oil cooler was chosen for durability. I had purchased a tube and fin, four pass, for my 1996 4.0 with 4R55E transmission. I was in the middle of mounting the tube an fin cooler and didn’t feel it was durable enough given the required location and possibly if damage by road debris and having to use transmission fluid hose and band clamps. I decided on AN fittings and stainless braided lines. Quality product. AN fitting conversion was a challenge due to unfamiliar fitting sizes and specific fitting requirements. NPT is national pipe taper NPS is national pipe straight Also note that AN to AN is reliable. A -6 Male or female is guaranteed. However at transmission to AN. The original trans fitting is an inverted flair. For my 4R55E this meant a 5/8 inverted flair to male -6. For the radiator it’s not straight forward as original hard line is not replicated by aan AN fitting. It’s an inverted flair but is long reach. I removed the fitting and went to an AN fitting NPT into the radiator coolin tank male to -6 male.

I’d love to give it less than a star but I can’t. Cooler lasted less than 5hrs of run time before one of the fittings broke off and I lost oil pressure and spun a bearing.
