Picking the Correct Size Compression Sack
Ordered a Large size compression sack for my Marmot Never Summer 6'6" 0-Degree sleeping bag. Unfortunately, the large size did not compress this sleeping bag near small enough for me. In the attached picture, you can see how large the bag was compared to my Nemo Disco sleeping bag in its compression sack.I then ordered a Small and a Medium size compression sack. The Marmot Never Summer sleeping bag was pretty difficult to smash into the Small sack, but eventually I was able to make it happen. The final dimensions were 15" long with an 8" diameter. I then tried the Medium sack and I was easily able to stuff the Marmot Never Summer bag into this sack. The final dimensions were 14" long with a 9" diameter.I decided to go with the Medium compression sack for this sleeping bag because of how easy it was to stuff and how close the final dimension size was to the Small sack.Hopefully this review will help someone who is a hiker, backpacker, or hunter that purchased a sleeping bag that did not come with a compression sack!

Can’t beat the price!! :)
For reference, inside is my Sierra Designs Nitro 35* sleeping bag. It’s in the size small and the bag is compressed down as small as the straps will allow, though I couldn’t go much more even if the straps allowed. Shown next to 32oz hydro flask.Pretty impressed with the quality of this compression sack and very pleased with the price! I can’t speak to the durability yet as I just bought this for an upcoming backpacking trip but it seems that with proper use (compressing with your hand on top while tightening straps a little at a time- as opposed to just yanking down on each strap) it will hold up just fine.My one complaint is the texture/water repellant treatment (?my guess) on the inside of the bag. It feels kind of rubbery, like a siliconized material and makes it quite a bit harder to stuff stuff inside compared to the slick/slippery texture of most stuff sacks, dry bags and compression sacks. That one con aside, I’m very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a functional and budget friendly alternative to name brand products! I will actually be returning an Outdoor Research ultralight compression sack now that I have this. I bought this because I wasn’t sure the OR one would come in time (it did) and am happier with this purchase over that one which was almost 3x the price!!! I’d love to see a sil nylon version of this so the inside is more slick! I’d def buy more!!UPDATE: just added a pic from our 5 day backpacking trip and no complaints. In fact, that water repellant coating inside that I complained about cuz it makes it a bit harder to stuff things inside totally saved my sleeping bag!! Haha my friend’s water bladder leaked in the trunk the whole drive to the trailhead and though my bag was sitting in the water, it stayed dry thanks to this compression sack! Very pleased!

Quality products
This is the 3rd product that I've bought from Frelaxy. The first 2 were backpack covers for my kids in college. They've had them for about a year and haven't had any issues at all. I decided to get a stuff sack when the cover that was on my sleeping bag got ripped. I'm a chaperone on alot of high school retreats and our luggage always gets thrown around, smushed and sat on. Gotta love teenagers. LOL! When I started searching for one, I saw that Frelaxy just came out with a stuff sack. I was thrilled because I've already had great luck with their other products. It was a no brainer to get this stuff sack. When you find a company that makes quality, long lasting products, there's no reason to look anywhere else. This stuff sack is lightweight, has nice tight stitching and thick straps. It's definitely waterproof. We had to unload our bus in the rain last weekend and all of my stuff in the sack stayed dry. If you want a product that will last for the long haul, you can't get any better made water-resistant packing or rain cover products than those made by Frelaxy.

Soo much stuff can be stuffed into this sack!
How much can you fit in one large stuff sack you may ask? Well let me tell you! About to go on a trip soon.. flying cross country then renting a minivan for car camping. Plan on some hiking and exploring but want to be comfortable! So in this useful bag I was able to stuff: 1 king size blanket, 1 fuzzy throw blanket, 2 beach towels and 6 pillowcases! Yup. Worth every cent! Glad I bought 3!

Great construction, but design is limiting
These are great bags. The design allows both ends to be fully sealed off against moisture, which is really great. The stitching all seems high quality, and they are light-weight.All of that said, I am kind of disappointed in them. The design is very limiting when it comes to compression, which is the main feature of the bag, right? Because the straps are stitched directly to the caps, and the caps go about a quarter of the way down the sides of the bags, that means you only get a very small level of travel to compress the bag. Had they made the straps go through the top cap rather than be attached to it, the straps would have unlimited travel. But as it is, you'll only achieve any compression if the items inside the bag completely fill it. And even then, if the items are very soft, you'll compress the bag to its fullest possible extent only to find that you could have compressed it more if the bag was designed differently.I'm not disappointed enough to return the bags, and I'm sure I will find use for them. But if I were looking for bags now, I'd get different ones without such limited travel on the straps. With these ones, I will simply add my own straps to further compress the bags.
