The Thorn Birds Complete [DVD] [1983/1996] [2010]

The thornbirds was a great movie. Richard chamberlain was such a good actor, very sexy! Glad I didn't know he was gay while I first watched it when it came out. Doesn't matter now since he's dead .

My bad. Got screwed a second time because I did not understand that Amazon sells DVDs that don't work in "all regions" in America. What does that mean? I might as well be living on Mars!!! Now, I'll have to buy a DVD player that can play DVDs anywhere in the US.The manufacturers, Warner Bros UK, who produced The Thorn Birds DVDs and sold them to Amazon must be laughing all the way to their banks. This regional practice borders on fraud and theft. The Warner Brothers name used to mean creating great movies. Their overall rating is 0. Warner Bros. now represents a ripoff company. I loved this series snd I wanted to own it. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to watch through my TV. I had to download a media program on my PC so I could watch the it.It was perfect.

I bought this DVD set for my Mom's 90th birthday.She puts it in her DVD and the screen says, "this DVD isn't authorized to operate in this region."What the *&%@! It's a stand alone DVD set! How does this even happen!Don't buy this item.

I love this sappy old series. My Region 2 is the best quality available and I love it. ♥

This DVD was designated "Regional" which would not play in our area for some reason. Even though it would not play and we were unable to watch it, it was not returnable. This is a BIG rip off. For many reasons, buyers may not have been able to try it before the return date. This has happened to me before with the movie "Misery". I'm of the opinion that a correct regional DVD may not be available at the time of purchase so Amazon gives only the incorrect one as the only choice in order to make a sale. Too bad. Buyers beware!

Arrived on time and in mint condition. However, because of Brexit, I paid a small customs fee online before delivery.
