I've used dental whitening products in the past. Somehow, I neglected whitening my teeth for many years, most likely due to other health problems. One day I noticed that my teeth were not as white as some crowns.So, I bought this product. It works as well as the gel that the dentist sold me. I probably used too much as I wanted to whitening the back of my teeth, so I'm on my second box. I am close to my goal, though I'm almost through with the second box. I ordered a third box, for maintenance.Some suggestions: Don't use too much of it will get on your gums and it will burn. Try to wipe off the excess with a tissue. If it still burns, take the whitening tray out and wipe off th excess. If it still burns, rinse your mouth and try another night. Do not use it nightly or your gums will get very sensitive. For long term storage, put it in a refrigerator. It will last for years.Lastly, a good tray is the key. Only your dentist can make a tray to whiten all teeth surfaces. It lets you use less gel too.

It's a good product, but best used with trays custom-made by your dentist. Yes, it will burn your gums white, but if it does you adjust the amount. Eventually you will find the proper amount that gives you minimal gum discomfort, if any. I put a little in the middle of each individual tooth tray and message it lightly away from my gums after inserting the tray. Works quite nicely. If you had your teeth whitened by the dentist, a refresher with this product once a week in your trays should keep your teeth nice and white forever. I'm a coffee and red wine drinker, so I suspect I need to use it more often than others, but it still works. Keep it refrigerated and one order should last for several months. Also brush three times daily if you can with normal toothpaste. But the custom-made trays and this product are the key to getting and maintaining nice white teeth.

I have been using Ultra-White for years. It is a very good whitening agent and I have been very satisfied. Some of the reviews talk about burning and whitening of the gums. This is due to overfilling your teeth trays and the gel overflows onto your gums. Pretty much any peroxide gel will do this to your gums. You don't need to fill up your teeth trays. Put a smallish amount in the tray, and once you put the trays on your teeth, move the trays around a bit to spread the get on your teeth. After a few times you will get to know the right amount to use. I never have issues with burning/white gums or sensitive teeth. Just takes practice. Don't leave the gel on for more than 90 minutes. 60 minutes should do it. If you leave it on too long it will make your teeth sensitive.

WARNING: Do not use too much! This product does work well at whitening but if you put too much in your tray you WILL be burned and damage your gums! The first two times I used it was just fine, the third time I used too much and the picture shows what happened.

I have been using this product for years. Initially I whitened with my retainers 3x a week. Now I whiten them once every other week and have very white teeth

They are now injecting air bubbles into the hydrogen peroxide. A way to "water down" the amount you get in a syringe. Do not get the application that I once did. Do not appreciate reducing a good product like this.

I have trays that were custom made by my dentist so I only needed the gel, I used to order Day White ACP 7.5% from dentist.net but I decided to try this item as directed. I put the gel on the trays as usual and waited the 30 min. After taking trays off my gums were white and swollen but not burning. Maybe the bleach concentration of this product is too strong, maybe my gums are too sensitive but the fact is that it did not work form me. I would suggest to try it for less time if you decide to use this product and see if your gums are sensitive. BDW the swollen/ white gum reaction is only for a few minutes and they will go back to normal, although it freaked me out at first when I looked at my teeth on the mirror after the bleaching.

Ignore the expiration date on the box! I just used this product again after purchasing it 3 years ago (it's over a year since it supposedly expired) and it once again whitened my teeth within a few days! I used to buy the gel at my dentist's office but when they stopped selling the gel I found this on Amazon. It works just as fast and as well (if not better) than the expensive stuff my dentist sold me which I had to leave on all night long. With this whitener, I only leave it on for an hour a day and it works so fast. The box has lasted for three years already and I still have two containers left. So worth it!
