GemOro 0377 UltraSpa Dual Ultrasonic and Steamer Jewelry Cleaner with 1-Pint Tank Capacity and Gray Slate 50 PSI Pressure

I bought this for my wife to clean up her wedding band and engagement ring and it works well with a polishing solution in sonicator mode. I have also used it on my Casio G-Shock metal digital watch wrist band to clean up the grime and it works well. The steam function puts out quite a bit of steam. Not sure how much of it is just feeling like I'm cleaning it and how much the sonicate mode cleans things up compared to the steam but when combined our Jewely comes out sparkly. It cleans off oils on sunglasses but does not remove smudges so a microfiber cloth and cleaning solution are still needed for that. Was hoping to just throw in sunglasses as advertised and see them come out perfectly clean with no smudges but that is simply not the case. Overall for jewelry this seems like a good investment to make less trips to our jeweler to perform ring cleaning.

Had this for a month now and I have not had any issues. I was not sure what to expect based on other reviews, but since it was prime eligible I figured what the heck.No issues with machine out of the box. Brand new.Easy set up. Smaller than i expected which is great Takes up less room. Still plenty big cleaner and steam reservoir. Clenaed about 15 peices of jewelry first time and did not run out of steam.Ultrasonic sounds good. I have no way to measure the frequency of the cleaner other than it sounds just like the full size machines I use to clean guns. The dog left the room as soon as I turned it on, so it seems to actually use ultrasonic waves, not just vibrating like some cheap machines do.Steam works great, a little residue with the first spray, but that should be expected. Very controllable valve for regulating amount of steam. Push down all the way and the jewelry flies right out of the tweezers.(Close nearby drains, don't ask why)Cleans just as well as taking it to the local jeweler. I used some Blitz cleaner concentrate, just a little in the water to help clean and it worked perfect. Little blast of steam after that and perfection.The only downside is that it is so easy and fast, less than 10 min from turning it on to done that my wife wants her earrings and ring done every week. Had to find a place for it to stay out instead of emptying it and storing it.

Received this and was so excited, read the entire instructions plus watched a video, pulled out the jewelry and I started. First use, absolutely perfect and my rings looked gorgeous. Second use, the steam power light did not come on, however, steam ready light came on immediately, so I thought no biggy, right? The sonic cleaner worked perfect, the steamer perfect,,,,then I went to power off by switch and it didn't turn off, uh......oh....I had to unplug completely. Okay, I'm thinking, what is going to happen next. I'm returning the unit and look for another somewhere. Maybe this is just one of those things when you buy something new. The unit did fabulous. It was so handy and I'm disappointed it didn't work out for me.

I agree with another reviewer that you need to read the instructions. I recommend watching a Youtube video on the Gemoro Ultraspa before reading the instructions. Once you see how it works, it is simple to use and the instructions make more sense. You need to know to avoid: emeralds, opals, pearls and jade to name a few of the softer gem stones listed. Glued stones are to be avoided. The instructions go over that. But any cleaning method for diamonds would be inappropriate for these more delicate gems. The results are impressive. I could not be happier. The gold sparkles as do the gem stones. Gold chains look new. The results match my favorite jeweler. The machine is light weight but sturdy, holds quite a number of pieces in the ultrasonic tank. I covered the bottom of the basket with jewelry and they all cleaned nicely. I was pleased how quickly I could clean all my jewelry. It is roughly 10" wide by 10" deep and 11" high.

I have had and used this for my wedding ring and tennis bracelet for about 6 months. I only use it for personal use, about 2-3 times a week. First of all, I LOVE how great it makes my jewelry (stunning!) HOWEVER, (after 5-6 months of use) all of a sudden, when it is plugged in it trips the circuit breaker immediately. It no longer works and I am worried it may be a fire hazard. I can't understand what happened, the unit wasn't even moved or anything. I do not know yet if the manufacturer will honor a warrantee or not yet (I am waiting to hear) and if they are able to make this right I will be updating this: because this problem happened after 6 months, we are no longer eligible for Amazon's basic return policy. When this unit is working, I LOVE IT. But let's face it, if it isn't working-- $200 is a lot of money.

Ok,This thing is great. I had read several bad reviews and was afraid I would get a bad one. I ordered an amazon open box used one. It came and looks brand new. Added the water turned it on and just what I was afraid of it leaked. Waited and used it anyway. Makes jewelry like new. Cleans the grease and grime from under the stone to make it sparkle again. When I let it cool I retightened the lid. Turned it on. No leak. Be sure it's tight the first time and you will be glad you invested in this. Has a sonic cleaner on the top. Tweezers to hold item under steam.Dries quickly
