Will a full sized keyboard fit inside zipped?

I believe it won't. I own a Logitech 710 + keyboard and I have to carry it with part of the mum pad outside of the bag. It doesn't bother me because this case is not meant for this type of device. Maybe a keyboard shorter than mine will fit completely zipped. Before everything check the length of the keyboard. Most gaming keyboards are going to be as large as the Logitech 710 + like mine so have that in mind. Hope this helped.

can you use your laptop while it's inside the case

Eh... kinda. It opens ALMOST enough to have your laptop open, but I don't see that being a comfortable position. And plus there is no strap inside if say you decide to move suddenly.

Unless your laptop is thicker than average 17.3" laptops you should be good. I have a 17.3" MSI that's a bit bigger than the average laptop and it fits snugly. If you are worried you can try to contact the seller and see if they can refund you if the case doesn't fit the laptop.
