Really good, powerful mower
Really easy to assemble. The range of cut heights is great as is the variable speed self propelled. Good to be able to charge both batteries simultaneously. It is quite heavy but not so much that me , a 67 year old can’t manage it.

Excellent value
Easy to build out of the box. Excellent machine so far. Powered drive is useful but not necessary as it’s very light. Cut is good. It’s very light machine to move around. Only managed short use so far, as batteries need full charge.

Brilliant but not sure about the battery life
Thought I’d measure the garden before reviewing. I have around 250 square metres. Once I’ve mowed that lot there is one bar left on each of the batteries. This is for a weekly cut with some it needing the high power cut that kicks in automatically, but I haven’t really used the self-propelled option much.. So I’m not sure you’d get the advertised 480 out of them. But maybe if you cut more often……However, in use it is brilliant. It has extra power when needed and cuts through anything I have. The grass bag, while not huge, is easy to detach and empty. The height settings are fine for me, but may be slightly high if you’re cutting a bowling green! As others have said, not having wires means you can get on much more quickly. My rt minutes is now about 30. I love it. The 1 bar of battery is enough to do a bit of strimming with the matching strimmer. Charging times are OK too. Haven’t measured it, but seems quicker than I was expecting.

Worth it!
Replaced a corded electric. Easy to set up. Seems well constructed. Simple to load batteries and operate. Mowing is a dream - no cable, light to handle, easy to empty collection bag, much quieter than corded. Only used a few times so far but very pleased so far. Completes 3 average sized lawns in half the time of my previous corded. Batteries have always had power to spare

Good mower
A little on the heavy side for me but that's the only negative on the plus cuts well. Self propelled makes it easier for me as my lawn is on a slope. Takes me 15/20 minutes to cut my lawn so on full batteries I still have four light left out of five. Headlight's to just in case you need to cut lawn in the dark lol 😂 the handle adjusts easily for height and golds away easily to but then the bulk makes it heavier to put away in shed.

Does the job effortlessly with my small to medium lawn
It's still early days (I've only used it twice), so if my thoughts change, I'll try and remember to amend my review. But so far, so great. Initial unboxing and setup was a minor chore. I don't think the instructions were the clearest and it's pretty heavy and big. I found a YouTube video that helped a fair bit. Basically amounted to snipping the couple of cable ties (but not all. A couple are handy for keeping some cords in place) tying the top part of the handle to the bottom, lifting the back flap, hooking the grass catcher on (it's harder when the handles are unfolded and locked in place), unscrew the screws on the side of the bottom part of the handles so you can align and screw in the top part (you don't need tools, it came with the necessary tool), then there are some clips near the base of the lawnmower you pull out and rotate to allow you to move and then lock in place the assembled handle. That sounds like a lot but it was pretty straightforward in the end. Usage-wise, it's pretty great. I only have a fairly small garden so it's massive overkill but I just love how easy it is now. The garden has not been given the love it deserves from me and, as a result, is really lumpy and uneven and it was becoming a veritable battle with the old hover mower. This thing just breezes through it effortlessly (and doubly so, if I use the self-propelled feature). The handles do stick out pretty far, when locked in place, though so I kind of have to cut from the middle outwards on one side then the other because I don't have a lot of room around the edge of the lawn. The battery, at full-charge, was perfectly fine for my small-ish (maybe medium? I don't know what average lawn size is?) lawn.Summary:I'm coming from a unique position as someone who does not have a giant lawn, who does not have concerns about battery life. I have a small to medium lawn but it was a pain to mow due to lumpy-ness. Now it is effortless. So I'm a happy camper.

Expensive but is it worth it?
This mower came in a large box because this machine is heavy, probably because the main carriage is steel. Initial set up was easy and within minutes we were ready to go. I just needed to charge the 2 batteries.Charged the batteries in a couple of hours and installed them into the mower and away I went. The self propulsion is a real bonus with the machine being as heavy as a sack of spuds. It cut the grass quite adequately and quickly, one can alter the speed it goes so it will go at your pace. The closeness of cut has 5 settings too. I have a sizeable back lawn and a slightly smaller front and I manage to get two full cuts from each battery charge which is ample for me.I note in other reviews people complain it doesn't have a roller but that's no problem for me, the days of stripy lawns are well gone because I just can't be bothered.Everything about the mower is well thought out and well made with quality parts as far as I can see.It is expensive, but when I look at comparable petrol mowers for a few quid less I realise this battery mower will require minimum servicing and no trips to the petrol station with the petrol can. No spark plug to replace and no messy two stroke oil to worry about. Is it worth the expense? You bet it is!

Good but heavy, falling despite light use.
Had to heavily revise my original review. Cuts the grass really well as you would expect. Battery lasts well so far, 30 minutes use uses about a third of the charge according to the indicator. But it is extremely heavy in use. Yes it is self propelled but that reduces the battery and is no help turning the thing around. Put it this way, it is far too heavy for my lovely wife to use. But the revision is due to durability. It is starting to shake itself to pieces. One of the main bolts holding the handle has fallen off. Good job I had a replacement that fitted the missing part. Greenworks have apologised and said a replacement is on the way but three months later still nothing, not good if I had not made the temporary repair.
