Does this filter out lead?

I believe so, but consult the description on the seller's info or contact the seller.

Does this filter remover lead? is it certified to nsf 53 standards?

No it is not, per the description it is only certified to NSF-372 for being made from lead free materials, it does NOT remove lead.

It says cannot turn the sink hot water on?? Is this true??
