I was a bit sceptical when ordering the gauges. Origin wasn't stated and I feared they were of cheap asian origin. Well, I believe they are made in China, but the quality impressed me. Rivets at the enclosure holding the blades together are well made, so these tolls will last a lifetime. Yes, they come in an oiled condition, this is ncessary as the blades are made of some spring steel and will corrode if left in a moist environment. All tools require care and a protective oil film to last. It is recommended to wipe off factory oiling and apply new oil to protect against corrosion. This toolset receives my highest recommendation.

The price is good and they work just fine. A couple of plates were a little rough but overall, they're ok.Not worth the hassle of returning and they're useful enough to keep despite the flaw.The roughness is on the flat surface and doesn't affect the usability.

Extremely disappointed by the quality of the steel as it rusted nearly instantly, but they still work and seem to be accurate enough.

They easy to use,especially for a hard to get to radius. My only complaint is the stamping on the fillets some are hard to read and the occasional backwards stamping. But what do you expect from such a cheap set. Yeah, you can buy an expensive brand (Mitutoyo) and get the same results.

They're decent for the price. A couple of blades weren't stamped properly so they're impossible to read, but you can figure it out. Most are fine. Just make sure you're ready to clean them because they come absolutely SOAKED in oil. Not sure why since they're supposed to be stainless.

Product arrived as described. The gauges were quite covered in grease. I understand that it is to preserve the steel, but it seemed excessive (see picture). You should open the package with gloves and have a paper towel ready. The plastic packaging was frail and tore very easily almost like it was packaged decades ago (see picture). I can’t comment on the accuracy as I have nothing to measure the gauges. I might try to find something and update my review. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase. I wanted a set of inexpensive gauges to measure objects for CAD modeling and 3D printing, and that is what I received.
