I really didn't know what to expect. I've tried lots of protein powders over the years. I actually like this one quite a lot. It has NO cholesterol in it, which if you didn't know is what makes you gain puffy fat from many protein powders. The taste is decent and it mixes very well. The price isn't bad either as it's a two pound container. My only gripe, if it's even a gripe, is the paper seal under the lid does not come cleanly off the jug. I know, it's minor but annoying just the same. Good stuff I will buying again for sure!

I have been using this for a few years, it’s excellent for pre and post workout. Taste great, I prefer the vanilla. It’s a bit sweet, which you should limit sugar intact when you have this shake.

I’ve been using Orgain 30g Protein for years, and it’s still my favorite. The taste is smooth, not chalky like a lot of other protein powders I’ve tried, and it mixes well with almond milk or in smoothies. What I really appreciate is that it’s easy on my stomach and doesn’t leave me feeling heavy. It’s become a daily part of my routine, and I honestly don’t see myself switching anytime soon. Reliable, clean, and tasty—exactly what I want in a protein powder.

I suggest ignoring the negative reviews but also understanding what you are buying. If you eat super clean, you understand that most natural supplements are not going to taste like a bowl of ice cream or be silky smooth like a truffle. There is sometimes compromise to be made. That said, I am impressed with how good this powder actually is, especially blended with soy milk and a banana or other fruit. I also add almond, flax, hemp etc. and make some really delicious shakes. The powder has a very slight vegetal taste - go figure. It's also got a little texture to it, which I actually enjoy. The vanilla flavoring is very natural tasting vs. the traditional extract flavor in most powders. I am just so tired of unrecognizable ingredients, thickeners, fillers, and super high cholesterol shakes. Even the "good" brands aren't that great when you read the labels... and many are up to $60-75 for 5 lbs. So yeah, this is what I will be using for the foreseeable future.

Not glucose friendly! Hidden ingredients, not clean as marketed! I wanted to love this product, but after wearing a continuous glucose monitor and tracking my response, I can confidently say this protein is not blood sugar friendly despite the clean label marketing. Within 15–20 minutes of taking it, my glucose spiked over 45 points, from 105 to 150 mg/dL, even though I paired it with fat and fiber. That kind of sharp spike is a red flag, especially for a product claiming just 1g of sugar and high fiber. Something in this formulation, whether it’s the gums, flavorings, or how the protein blend is processed, is triggering an aggressive insulin or glucose response. If you’re metabolically sensitive, insulin resistant, or working on stabilizing blood sugar, this is not the clean fuel it pretends to be. I’ve tested other single-ingredient proteins with zero spike. I won’t be repurchasing.
