Energy Efficient
A fantastic airfryer. Simple to layer and see food cooking, faster and more energy efficient than a conventional oven. Easy to clean. A welcome addition to the kitchen. I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic little air fryer - so quick & easy to use and incredibly easy to clean - I love it!!
This is my first air fryer so I have nothing to compare with - but I am absolutely delighted with it.It is suitable for one to 2 people, I think. (Perhaps just for one if you have a big appetite!)It is very easy to use - I have mostly used it for things we would usually cook in the oven, such as baked potatoes and veggie sausages or quorn nuggets and pizza (cut small!) - that sort of thing. The air fryer cooks them quickly and well so they are nice and crispy (we like everything crispy). I usually put it on 180 degrees for 10 minutes and add a bit more time if needed. You can open and close the drawer to check just like you would with a normal oven.Usually I have loads of oven trays and liners to wash if I cook in my normal oven, but this air-fryer is an absolute delight to clean - I still can't believe how easy it is! Nothing seems to stick to it. I just take out the tray and wash it in soapy water. And then rinse out the drawer under a running tap, then wipe it round with a wet cloth. Dry it and put it back. Simple and easy - it takes about a minute to clean so it saves lots of time in cooking and washing up.I have had it for over 2 months and still absolutely love it!

Good intro to air frying
I recently purchased the small air fryer to try out this new cooking technology at home. Overall, I'd say it's a decent product that's great for beginners or those who want to test the waters with air frying. However, I was a bit disappointed with its performance, especially when compared to some of the more expensive models on the market.First, the good stuff. The air fryer is incredibly easy to use, with a simple and intuitive interface that makes it easy to set the temperature and timer. The design is also quite compact and lightweight, making it easy to store in a small kitchen or apartment. The basket is also a great size for small batches of food, and the non-stick coating makes it easy to clean up after use. The air fryer comes with a few preset settings for popular foods like fries and chicken, which is a nice touch. However, the performance is where the air fryer falls short. While it's able to produce some decent results, they're not always consistent or impressive. The food can sometimes come out a bit soggy or undercooked, and the crispiness just isn't there.I've tried cooking everything from fries to chicken wings to vegetables, and while it's possible to get decent results, they're not always as good as what I've gotten from other air fryers. The heat distribution seems to be a bit uneven, and the fan can be quite loud at times.Overall, I'd recommend this air fryer to anyone who wants to try out air frying at home but isn't ready to invest in a more expensive model. It's a great way to dip your toes into the world of air frying and see if it's something you enjoy.Pros:Easy to use and cleanCompact and lightweight designGreat for small batches of foodNon-stick coatingCons:Performance could be betterUneven heat distributionLoud fanNot as good as more expensive models

Good for money
Love the product. It would have been much better if this had a bucket rather than trays. My top tray cook the fries much quicker than the one I place under it. Fries usually cook in 12-15 minutes at 170. Chicken also takes the same time. Size is also good for two or three people. One whole chicken (baby chicken or medium chicken) fits perfectly. I haven’t used the baking or dehydration yet so can’t pass comment on it.

Excellent, if you prepare for the inevitable failure...
I planned to review this when I first got the unit, but you know, life...I was going to say; helluva noisy until you get used to it, but then a great addition to the kitchen; easy to use, easy to clean, great results. That sort of thing.I mean, it's an Air Fryer, so if you don't have one of these (or some other modern-tech oven; Halogen, etc.) then you should definitely consider getting one. You will quickly get back the cost in energy savings, especially at today's electricity prices (by the time your conventional oven has reached operating temperature, the air fryer is finished!).Food is cooked more quickly, and with many foods, more tasty. A spray bottle of oil and you have super-crispy chips, fish, and so on. But what about THIS air fryer? Well, I've had it almost a year now, so I feel qualified to give an opinion...Once you get used to the noise (all air fryers are noisy, afaik) this unit works well. It has a few quirks. The weirdest one is that if you open the door, the timer continues! So if you are swapping trays around, taking stuff out for a spray of oil or whatever, the fryer continues counting down, so you regularly need to add a minute when you open the door. Crazy! The display continually switching back and forth between temperature and remaining time is annoying as you already know what the temperature is, having set it; meaning you need to wait pointless seconds for the time to display to alter it, which you need to do every time you open the door (you can also press the button to switch between time and temp). Also, a quick glance over to check the remaining time (and are too far away to press the button!) becomes long seconds of waiting (like 5 seconds, I kid you not) - as timing is everything in the kitchen, this regularly irritates.I find the unit easy enough to clean. The mesh trays (which I at first thought looked flimsy but have held up well to near-daily use) I drop into soapy water straight after use and by the time dinner is eaten, they clean up easily with a green scourer. The inside wipes down fine when still hot/warm, ideally after every use. The fan cover is easy to forget about and after a few uses will probably start to smoke without some cleaning. The rotisserie basket is a little more challenging to clean and we've just had to accept "clean enough" as normal. It's not like any germs are surviving 200 degrees!Note, it is challenging but possible to use the rotisserie basket AND cook 2/4 items at the very front and back of the bottom tray, if they aren't too wide. Two big sausages or narrower fish fillets, for example. This makes for a super energy-efficient meal. Still, I'd much rather have an extra few centimetres space *under* the rotisserie basket. When I eventually upgrade, I'll be looking for exactly this.I definitely wouldn't consider one of those drawer-type air fryers. Having a decent sized space and multiple tiers makes for serious flexibility. A complete meal for two is doable. A glass door with a light makes a big difference, too.Temperature control is extremely accurate and stable, right up to 200C (or slightly more I suppose, if you switched to US/Imperial). The dehydrator function also works well and is surprisingly energy-efficient. Banana chips are a win with the kids and a great way to use up those over-ripe nanas (which somehow seemed to have escaped the cost-of-living hikes).Yup, everything works fine.Until the door falls off.If you are fortunate, you will notice this before it /completely/ falls off ( the - removable - door tends to come off in your hand when the screws are getting loose - okay, technically they are probably bolts ), and you can screw the bolts back in and it will hold for a while, hopefully. Repeat. This is me.If you are forewarned, you can fix this BEFORE you even use the unit: Unscrew the screws part way and squirt a few drops of thread-locker in there. Tighten up, leave to cure. You should be good to go for years now. I WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME THIS! My unit has too much oil in around there now. Affecting a decent repair without at least taking the bottom off for a thorough clean seems unlikely.Amazon have offered to send me a completely free replacement, but the idea of creating this much carbon waste to ship a new unit AND send this one back (to be land-filled, no doubt), for the sake of a nut, irks me. It's nuts! Also, the unit I have works. They also offered me a pay-off; an £18-odd "partial refund". And goodbye warranty! Apparently Chefman don't do spares, either, or recommend "users" repair their air fryers. What a mess. So, a fantastic yet flawed Air Fryer I would find difficult to recommend to anyone who isn't prepared to a) thread-lock the unit before use and b) expect to open it up at some point in the future for possible further repairs. But if you are, it can be a real kitchen workhorse. The glowing, fuzzy bit now: I love this thing! For all its flaws, it has revolutionised our kitchen. When I'm shopping, I now look at food and think, "How can I Air Fry this?". These flowers are thrown at all Air Fryers; my regular oven has been switched on maybe three times in the last year.Remember when decent (Tripath) class D amps came along and blew everything out of the water? Hmm.. maybe not, but Air fryers are like that. They strip TCO to the bone and produce results that get you thinking, "this is what ovens are supposed to be like". Pizza is a great example. A real pizza oven does things a conventional oven can't. But an Air fryer CAN. And much more. I'm still learning (a friend suggested tossing broccoli florets in a bag with oil and herbs then Air Frying and changed my life overnight). It's like owning a kettle. Everyone does now. Sure, you could boil water in a pan over an open fire but, seriously? Would you? In the future, there will be no "conventional" ovens. This is the way.Our Air Fryer is used almost every day. If it's not cooking dinner, it's roasting peanuts (a household staple - that rotisserie basket is brilliant for this - 20m at 165C) or dehydrating fruits or herbs, even heat-treating leather armour, as well as some other temperature-dependent science for the kids! Being able to set, say, 65C and know it will stay there, is *extremely* handy. And pizza never tasted so good (those big oval pizzas in Lidl/Aldi fit beautifully, cut into four, on two trays), with a crispy-on-the-outside AND juicy-on-the-inside finish. Nor breaded fish, and lots of other foods, too.The bottom plate looks easy enough to get off. If/when I eventually need to do that, I'll report back. What I'm saying is, if you are handy with a screwdriver, this is a genuine bargain. It has a good size, excellent temperature control and decent accessories.Be careful removing the door (do it when it's only /slightly/ open). And whatever you do, even though it looks like you should be able to, and it would be sooo handy (like when you are switching trays around), DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING ON THE OPEN DOOR! Those bolts will not take it, unless, of course, you thread-locked them.
