Great to teach older kids how to read their Bible

This is a great quick Bible lesson for my son. It has a short lesson and a short reading assignment. There is a memory verse a week which my son hasn’t had a problem with

Apparently, my son thought the other devotionals were "too baby' for him. I think mostly because he does not like to color or draw and often that is what is in devotionals for elementary school children. I researched a few and decided on this one. I'm glad I did. Previously, when I asked him "How was your devotional?", he would say "Okay". On the 2nd day of this one, when I asked him, he said "Great!". We talk about the daily questions during dinner time. He seemed proud to take notes on the Sunday Sermon notes page. I think this is a great devotional for any child who wants something a step of from the "kiddie" devotional. I'm so happy to see my son enjoying reading his bible!

I purchased this as a gift for a family member. I love that it has daily reading and questions to get young ones into the Word of God! I particularly like the Sunday "Talking with Jesus" section which encourages them to write sermon notes and share what they've been learning. Beautiful illustrations!

I love this devotional for kids! I'm always looking for a quick devotional that encourages children to read and understand the Bible independently. I happily recommend this book to families I serve at my church. Thank you, David Murray! You never disappoint!

I have seen a few people who simply give this book to their child and send them on their way. However that won't work at all for my kids because we never really practiced religion actively when they were younger. As the days go by I am seeing the importance of religion and the moral teaching it brings more and more each day. This is a wonderful prompt for us that helps us navigate the bible and Christianity overall. I can see us getting a whole lot of good use out of this book and its for a sure a must have for Christian homeschool families as well.

It's great for Sunday school class.

Gets our kids involved with study, in knowing how to reference their scriptures, and in the Sunday service.
