I received this as a gift and I am so delighted. This book is so helpful and I've learned quite a bit about the birds in my own backyard. There are pictures of the birds, a map indicating where they like to live, and about their food, nesting, plumage, and their voices. The index is helpful, I can zero in on the birds I want to research.
