Dorman 955-188 Passenger Side Manual Door Mirror - Folding Compatible with Select Chevrolet / GMC Models, Black and Chrome

For the price I paid for this mirror, I expected to have a somewhat "cheap" experience. Well, I am actually very surprised. It has been installed on the truck for about two months, and is handling the lovebug season with aplomb. It is not as well made as the original, as it is not sealed around the perimeter of the glass with caulk, nor is it as heavy. However, it seems to be doing the trick for now. I left my original mount on the truck and simply swapped the mirror with arm, cover, and clamping bracket over to it. If you really do not want the mirror to move, then tighten down the bracket as much as possible BEFORE you put the cover on. Once it is installed, you will be hard pressed getting it off without breaking the plastic clips holding it on. I have a feeling that you would have to take the mount and mirror off from the door to access the releases for the tabs. I do not expect it to last the nearly 30 years of the original, but for the price paid, if it lasts 3, I will have made out like a bandit!

Fit my pickup, just like I was hoping for, but it looks just a little different than the other mirror. Doesn't matter much to me though, it's just a beater.

Works perfectly. Not as nice as OEM but is a suitable replacement on our 23yr old truck.

didn't match right side

I bought both sides, to replace my rusted black ones on my 88 chevy. The chrome and glass is beautiful, seems very high quality. They come with new hardware and gaskets as well which is a very nice surprise.

Simple install. Was exactly what we were looking for. We just wanted a good replacement that would hold up.

This looks just like the one that got broken on my pickup. Was very easy to replace it, and reasonable.
