Better Than Salt Spray
I have long, fine, wavy hair (2b), and I began using this spray based on my stylist's recommendation after trying a few different texturizing sprays. This one is my absolute favorite!I mist my hair while it is wet and scrunch in with a microfiber towel. Then once hair is dry, mist and scrunch again to help set the waves. If my hair falls a bit due to humidity or wind, I just spray and scrunch to bring it back!Unlike salt or sugar sprays where they get everything sticky and build up in your hair, this mist does its job for the day without the mess or stickiness. I love that because the salt/sugar sprays would weigh down my very fine hair and counteract the styling. With Undressed, I can have perfect beachy waves without any other products or extensive styling, and then I can either mist with just water the next day to bring the waves back to life or brush it out. You really can't add too much, just like the bottle says! I'm on my second bottle now, and I love it. It's higher cost, but it lasted me several months even with hair past my shoulders.I would definitely recommend giving it a try for those with fine hair who have trouble with even "lightweight" products weighing you down!

Best styling product for my short and layered hair!

Works for my hair
I use the Hairstory shampoo and balm for my gray and wiry hair that tries to be wavy. The products have helped me keep my hair from becoming frizzy. The spray allows me to put some curl back into my hair and still air dry my hair without it becoming frizzy. Because the product does not contain salt, it manages to do what similar products can do but without any damaging salt.

Results on course 2a hair
Absolutely love the wave it gives you and doesn’t leave a sticky cast. I was able to use it on wet and dry hair and the results were almost identical. The only complaints I have is the smell; rubbing alcohol is the only way I can describe it. Maybe not worth almost $40 but definitely still a good product.

Broken sprayer, leaky bottle, and I suspect different substandard product
I have been using Undressed for many years and I always buy direct from the Hairstory website. I bought on amazon this time bc I was in a hurry to get it. Big mistake! Not only is the sprayer broken and unable to spray properly, making this bottle unusable, but it is NOT the same product you get from Hairstory. The broken sprayer caused this to leak all over my hands and right away I noticed it doesn't smell the same as the Undressed I have been using for years, AND the product is thinner and has an an obvious alcohol smell. It seems that Hairstory is using Amazon to market a cheaper and substandard product. This makes me want to find a new product altogether and never buy another Hairstory product.

Dream product
Fine/thin-haired people you know the struggle! Trying to find the right product or combo that doesn’t flatten, stiffen or otherwise ruin your style…this is it! For those that commented on it making hair stiff, it can…the easy solution is just to gently brush or run fingers through it to soften and break it up. Then piece it out again with fingers if needed. After shampooing I just spray some Davines volu-mist, comb through and then a fair amount of Undressed. Don’t even have to blow it dry and worry about killing my hair with heat. It encourages whatever waviness I’ve got, gives a soft matte finish with zero grit, never looks dirty, and provides killer texture! Great on second and even third day hair to revive the style. Just a few judicious squirts, some rearranging and it’s good to go. I’ve got a short shag with lots of layers and this is THE perfect product for it!

A must for shags
If you have a shag haircut, you must try this! I get the perfect air-dried style. It’s just the right hold, still soft with movement. You really can’t over-do it and it’s not crunchy. I use this at the crown and a little Balm on my ends and my hair comes out awesome!

Works well but smell is prohibitive
It seems to work well for my fine, straight hair. Doesn’t leave it weighted down and I loved the lift/body I still had a few days after washing. Texture isn’t crunchy, brushes out nicely. That said, the smell is awful. Others have said like rubbing alcohol, but I think it’s worse than that. It smells toxic. I was shocked on first use. I have never experienced a beauty product smelling this terrible.I’ve gotten hair/skin products I didn’t like the smell of before, even some relatively expensive ones, and just chucked them and moved on. Which I mentioned to emphasize that it takes a whole lot for me to even care to write a review. I do not understand how a product line dedicated to hair could have approved releasing something that smells this bad. To be fair, while the smell is intense and fairly repulsive when using/styling, it doesn’t linger and isn’t noticeable in the hair once styling is done. Not sure if I’ll keep using.
