I like the HEAT and SMOKE level delivered from one teaspoon of this Chipotle adobo spice. The smokiness is very comparable to a good Spanish smoked paprika. It's a mellow heat that stimulates your taste buds, but doesn't make you sweat, and it's easy to digest. It's a great item to kick up the heat a couple of notches, without having to handle Chili's. I find it nearly interchangeable with GochuJang which has more umami than smoke, but a little bit less heat. I use it in seafood or chicken stir Fry's, and add it to Vidalia sweet onion and baby bella mushroom sautes. It's also a great addition to complex pasta sauces to add a little umami heat. Add it to avocado Mayo to make a great Chipotle mayo sandwich spread. A very versatile and TASTY condiment! I wish it was organic, but how much pesticide could one teaspoon contain?

My go to chipotle adobo sauce base. Pretty spicy so add slowly if you want to be cautious.

Great product. I have ordered a few times. The reason for only 4 stars is that there are always dented cans when I receive. None have been dented to the point of leaking and I have used every can but handling/packaging could us some improvement.

Fantastic in chili, but not too much depending on your heat tolerance. Great smoky flavor.

Wow! These chipotle peppers are so full of flavor, they are a great complement to many different foods. Put them over poultry, beef, or even fish. I first tasted them over mashed potatoes, and they were wonderful. Mix some with scrambled eggs or put them over fired eggs. The taste is smokey, rich, definitely hot, but not overly so. Try them!
