Very well constructed of high quality materials. The wood is not finished, but is sanded very smooth. Fits perfectly over a wheel barrow. Easy to use.

First, the service is great. I had an issue with shipping damage, and they were fast and responsive.I've been searching everywhere for this so I didn't have to build myself. It fits snugly on my standard, one-wheel ACE-branded wheel barrel with just enough space to shake it. The wire mesh is very solid and holds a lot of weight, not from a rollable mesh like I would have made myself. Good construction. The only downside is the wood is very light, which makes it prone to cracking or damage over time, but it's the best you'll get shipped and not from your own lumberyard.It was a long search, and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Excellent product, well made with sturdy materials. I only wish it had come with handles. Not a big deal though. I just added the handles I wanted.

Doesn't need a handle, unless you have only one hand. We have sifting soil from 50 years of garden debris. It is oddly satisfying. I think small mesh would make the process slower. The mesh is extra strong. I expect this sieve to outlast me.

Anyone who has a lot of trees, shrubs, or gravel or stone walkways should consider purchasing one of these sifters. It is easy to use, and the soil and dirt is saved and can be reused in the gardens. Also, only yard debris gets put into the green waste bins. It is well worth the cost. The first time I used it, it saved me 85% of the time I would usually spend sorting debris from reusable materials. To add to all of these great reasons for purchasing it, it is made in the United States!

We had some scraps of hardware cloth sitting in our backyard, along with some odd pieces of lumber, so before buying this, I considered asking my husband to make something that would help me get the gravel out of our soil. Since he was busy with other projects, I ordered this instead. I viewed a lot of similar looking products before buying this, and after it got here, I was really glad I paid a little more and got something that is durable and well made. This grate is definitely sturdier than hardware cloth. The wood is very solid and nice quality and has been sanded on the outside where I need to pick it up, which is wonderful. There are no sharp metal edges that might poke out through the wood, and also, it is put together with screws, not nails or staples. The size seems just right to me: big enough for a shovelful of dirt, but not too large or heavy to carry.

A little more complicated to use if only one person is doing it, but it is doable. Seems sturdy. Wish the screen was a little smaller as rocks still get through. Overall, a nice product.

We bought this to sift the dirt we dug up in our yard, to save on having to order clean fill.Just so everyone's aware, doing this type of work yourself is not easy, especially when you have a large pile of dirt/products to sift through. Its manual labor, but the sifter worked great and didn't break or fell through, even when I thought the chicken wires would break off and separate from the wood border.Its well made and easy to use with the handles on the sides.Ours lasted and are still going. I still need it for my garden beds next spring and hoping it'll last through that as well.
