Fixed Stars in the Chart: Constellations, Lunar Mansions and Mythology

There’s dozens of books on Fixed Stars and as many on the Nakshatras of Vedic astrology. None that I’ve found that bridges the two as well as this book. The author skillfully outlines the commonalities between the mythologies of East and West.There are also deep Spiritual concepts sprinkled throughout the book which can assist in making deeper, more meaningful delineations. The case studies take up a good chunk of the book which will be useful to beginner and intermediate students. Finally, I found the Appendix to be laid out in a very useful manner, making a great deal of information more easily accessible.

It is an absolute must have for amateur astrologers and professionals. The description of Constellations is sufficiently concise and sufficiently in depth. The case studies are good because I can see for myself how fixed stars work. Very good book.

Wasn’t sure about this book, but now Ive started reading it, I am really glad that I kept it and I am enjoying this read very much and I would recommend .

An informative and instructive book providing a good foundation and more to the fixed stars in astrology and how they work in people's nativities. Good for the contemporary traditional astrologer, you won't regret buying it.

Il fait mouche à nouveau avec sa publication sur les étoiles fixes, qui délivre un compendium digestible, permettant la mise en pratique de ce savoir ancien bien peu pratiqué.L'ouvrage comprends aussi de nombreuses études de cas, en reliant le contenu de certains éléments du thème de naissance, non seulement avec les étoiles fixes qui leur sont conjointes, mais aussi au contexte mythologique gréco romain qui leur sont associées.Certes, il s'agit d'illustrations à postériori, une pratique dans laquelle les astrologues excellent, mais bien plus difficile est de se prononcer sur un thème "en aveugle" et mon regret est que l'auteur n'ai pas présenté d’interprétations plus globales de thèmes pour juger de l'impact effectif des étoiles fixes. De même l'affirmation de l'auteur sur l'impact des étoiles fixes dans les progressions aurait pu être plus étayée.
