SE Natural Wood Walking Stick - ‎WS62

I have Parkinson’s and my main symptom is poor walking ability. Canes help, but I bought two of these wonderful sticks and use them like a cross country skier might use poles to guide them and make them move. Well, they do the same thing for me! I can walk pretty much perfectly steady from room to room - thresholds and narrow spaces still can make me freeze up - but I can get going again quickly with my new sticks! That may not sound like a big deal to most people who have no balance or walking issues, but they’ve been a great addition for my therapy and balance control.The sticks are made of pine that’s been sealed with a shiny thick coating. They will undoubtedly outlast me!

My husband, who is a Druid, LOVES this walking stick. The craftsmanship is beautiful, it's very weather proofed, and it's the perfect height for him which has been a problem with previous walking sticks (he is 6'4) If you spend a lot of time in nature and hiking, this is the perfect walking stick for you!

I have bought three of these over a year's time frame. The first one is light, strong, straight, the right thickness, and with a good leather thong for your wrist- perfect! My second purchase is all the first is, except for a pronounced curve in its shaft. The third one was like the first, except its shaft was too thick for a comfortable grip, and the leather loop was too small for my wrist placement. That is one drawback to ordering something online that is not consistent. I do love #1, and the other two are usable.

I bought this for a Renaissance Faire, and it worked out perfectly. I don't know if I would recommend this for a hike, but the height and weight were exactly what I needed to dress up my druid. I especially liked the bulb shape on the top.

Was just delivered today, and I used it right away to go shopping. WOW!! It has a strong, hefty weight, natural sculpting and a leather loop nicely positioned about 7" from the top, perfect for looping your hand through. This walking stick is perfect for keeping your posture entirely upright while using, instead of hunching over like some people do while using a cane. I'm a 5'6" woman with severely arthritic knees and find this to be great support for my use. Plan to buy more for gifts as well. Male or female, this is a great value, and more stylish than a cane.

I had back surgery a while back. As I get older it is getting harder to walk for any length of time with out a lot of pain. Trying this walking stick was my attempt to stay active. I tried it out at a Flee Market and to my great surprise for the first in some time I walked 2 miles plus. I could walk straight and was able to take some of the pain off of my back. I still had some pain however it was tolerable and I was able to enjoy day. The stick was easy to handle, I felt very safe using it, the height was was perfect, and it is very sturdy.
