I am a biochemist and have been supplementing for years. I know a thing or two about what makes a good supplement and what makes a bad one. If you're reading this review, chances are you've already realized that most multivitamins are a complete waste of money, that higher than RDA doses of vitamin C can literally work miracles for the human body and that not all ascorbic acid is created equal. Vitamin C’s many roles in the body are so basic to healthy function that it is almost a wonder drug. It is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-cancer compound. Vitamin C is essential to help protect against the free radicals generated by fat cells. No matter what ails you, adequate amounts of vitamin C will help. Many incurable conditions have been remedied simply by providing the required C. Sadly, almost all Americans are deficient in vitamin C, which contributes significantly to our epidemic of chronic disease. Vitamin C has the ability to donate or accept electrons easily, thereby facilitating the flow of electricity in the body. Electron flow controls and regulates the bodies functions by promoting cell to cell communication. Disease happens when electron flow is impaired. Life ends when electron flow stops. Insufficient vitamin C impairs flow, which is why vitamin C deficiency is a significant contributor to disease. It is also why adequate C both prevents and reverses disease. When electron flow is optimized, health and vitality are optimized. That being said, it's a LOT harder to find high quality pure ascorbic acid crystals or powder that is not synthetic and NOT derived from corn!! After searching far and wide and trying many different brands, this is the one I have settled on for my own personal use and my family's and I have been extremely pleased with it. It dissolves and mixes better than any other I have tried. Dr. Thomas Levy who wrote; "Curing the Incurable: Vitamin C, Infectious Disease and Toxins" advises a minimum of 6,000 mg of C per day but usually more like 10,000-20,000 mg per day depending on the person. For acutely ill patients his recommendations go as high as 100,000 mg per day or more. A good rule of thumb is to start small and increase the dose until you find your own "bowel tolerance" or the point at which you begin to have softer or looser stools as a result. My personal tolerance (as a very healthy 39 y/o woman) is somewhere between 8,000-10,000 per day. Be aware that pure, un-encapsulated C in this form is VERY tart! I love to put it in smoothies with flavors that compliment it, like orange or raspberry extract with some monkfruit to make it like an orange julius. Just don't be shocked when you take it. See a side by side picture with this and another crystal form C I just finished using up. This is like powdered sugar and the other like granulated sugar in consistency. This kind mixes so much better! My only complaint about this specific brand is that while they included a scoop which I REALLY appreciate, the scoop handle is WAY too long for the container! I can barely get it back inside even when digging a significant hole for it. That's not a big deal though. You can always cut the handle or just use your own 1/4 tsp. I really couldn't be happier with the quality and sourcing of this powder and I use it multiple times per day every day! You won't be sorry if you buy this. It's really the best your money can get! If your going to take vitamin C, this is the one you want. 100% non gmo! And be prepared to pucker when you drink this, whew it is sour, but in a good way. I mix mine with MSM each nite and am one happy camper. One tiny scoop is 1000 mgs of glorious vitamin C. If your going to take supplements which I highly advise in todays world of crappy food, why not go with the very best? This is an excellent source of powdered vitamin C, clean, pure, non gmo and reasonably priced. It is a very fine powder, dissolves well and tastes great. Treat your body well, and build up your immune system with this wonderful nutrient, your body will thank you.

This C powder is fine. It has a tart taste, but not to bad. I mix it with orange juice, zinc 2 x a day. Been through several containers. Bummed to see its out of stock again and they don't know when they will get it back in stick. Last time it went out, it came back with less ounces for same price. Hope it comes back at same amount and at least the same price. I take about 4 to 5 thousand milligrams a day. Has kept me healthy. Update: I have bought this many times over the last 3 years. Each time it goes out of stock and comes back, the price jumps. I paid 24.99 the very first time I ordered it and it was double the size. Then it went to 29.94 and the size went to half of what it wad. Then I bought it at $31 or $34 the next couple times. Then it was out of stock and now it's over $44. I realize things are going up. But if it goes up any more I will have to change to a diff brand, although not as good, I won't have a choice. It's getting way to expensive

I have been very leery of buying any vitamin, especially Vit. C in powdered form, as there is so much manufactured in China. This is NOT, but in the UK. I can't add anything more that hasn't already been said about this product. It is well absorbed, easy and light to drink and does not irritate or upset my stomach in the least, compared to other brands I have tried in the past. I will continue to use this product for as long as I can get this on Amazon. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to supplement their Vit. C daily intake. It's easy to dispense with the little measuring cup that comes with it and it will last a long time (depending of course, on your own personal dosage). I would like to see it in the 64 oz. size again. A very fine company and wonderful product! Keep up the great work!

A powder that dissolves very quickly, no fillers and other non-essentials. Not made from corn and manufactured in the UK where they are very strict about what goes into their products. I have had no adverse reactions and consume about 2000 to 4000ml daily. I trust that I will be able to purchase it for a long time.

This is our favorite vitamin C because of the Quali-C rating. No random fillers from questionable sources. It .is.sour. We sweeten 3-5g with 1 packet of stevia or a scoop of Sufficient-C in a 1:1 ratio which seems to help. You have to add a lot of sugar or honey to overcome the sour. I think it can be buffered with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)..will just be salty. I didn’t see this on the labeling but a lot of times vitamin C powder doesn’t have great stability and you have to consume it shortly after mixing which can be annoying if you are sick and require high doses.

I ordered for histamine, adrenal issue and general health. Good Vitamin C, not derived from corn but very expensive for the amount you receive in the jar.

I kept looking for a Vitamin C powder that was sugar & GMO free with NO CORN or gluten! I finally found it this past March. I'm on my 4th container. Mixes well and is easy to drink. I'm able to get my 5-6G in per day without GI any side effects. Highly recommend!! I've tried several different types of Vitamin C during this pandemic and none have compared. Four GMO Free Ultra Fine Vitamin C Powder containers sit empty in my recycle bin while other brands of Vitamin C I've purchased are still mostly full!! They either have additives I don't want or just taste nasty!! This is the best.
