Q: Hi , this product says the dimensions are 4x8. But in the description further down it says they are 22.7 x 11.7. Can someone help please

These cases are narrower at the bottom than at the top so the measurements are true. I used these cases to make 125 individual Christmas cakes. Suggest you put mixture in at 3/4 full, this leaves room for icing an decorations

Q: Can you make milkcake in these?

The cases are very well sealed so they should be good for a very loose/liquid batter

Q: How much liquid or cake mix do they hold?

I would estimate half the size of a muffin. They really are mini. I purchased some previously from a different Amazon supplier which were 1 1/2 times the size of these. When I ordered these I thought they would be the same size so was disappointed when I got them.

Q: The instructions say "put the cases into a tin", but the photo shows them placed straight on to the oven shelf. Are they sturdy enough?

It can be put into the oven on its own, however on a tray it prevents the possibility of any spillages
