Worse than my low expectations
When I bought the cheapest camera I could find, I knew I was sacrificing quality for price, but I didn't know that cameras got this bad! The manual is available online from Vivitar's website, and I wish I had read it before buying. Removing the batteries or allowing them to run low will result in all photos being deleted. The highest quality photo is 640x480, which is not quite good enough to get prints made, and the photos look awful even for that resolution. And it only stores 26 photos at that size. The camera was unusably bad. I would only recommend it if you have to have a digital camera, can download the photos off of it daily, only need to take tiny photos, don't mind the low quality, don't have a cell phone with a camera, and you have only $15 to spend.

A great gift!
Who doesn't like having their own camera! And it will also go along with the Picture Keepers I also purchased. Even just alone always makes for a great gift!

Regret purchasing
I figured the deal was too good to be true being it only cost $16.There is no back screen for you to see the pictures you've taken. You'll have to upload the images to your computer in order to view them. That can prove problematic if you don't have a CD compartment on your comp. You'll have to download the imaging software in order for your computer to recognize the camera. Also, there really isn't much of a splash to show you that you've snapped a photo. You'll truly only know when you see the number go down.

vivitar digital camera
very hard to focus. When you think you have full item in view finder and then download it, you discover you only have half of the item. Same item is available in the family dollar store for $10.00 and it is not worth any more than that, certainly not 29.95 plus S&H.

Disposable. Even $10 is a waste of money.
Personally, I think even $10 is WAY too much to spend on this. I got this as a cheap replacement for another digital camera that I thought I had lost. Thank GOD I found the other one!!!There is no viewing screen on this camera. Isn't that one of the perks of having a digital camera, being able to see the digital image before you click that button? Nope. This doesn't have that. It's probably not even as advanced as the old-fashioned digital cameras. I gave it to my friend to give it to his kids. I'd say it's useful as a toy for a 5-year old, but no one older than that would like it.

Recommended this seller!!!
Though this camera isn't intended for high expectations, I thought that there would be, in the least a clear picture. No matter what light, inside, outside, or any other circumstance for me the picture was horrible. This camera was not worth the small amount of money at all. But the seller did work with me and refund my money.... I recommend this seller!!

Possibly the worst, cheapest
Possibly the worst, cheapest, and lowest quality camera I have ever purchased. In hand, it feels very lightweight and almost as if you could break it from just sheer thought alone. There's no easy way of telling if your picture was taken -- given the fact that there is no flash indicator but only a small screen on the back that blinks random numbers and letters. This would make a good gift for a todler to play with however. My best advice is for you not to even consider buying this "Camera". Honestly, I'm curious as to why this product is even being sold?
