✨ Elevate Your Projects with Pure Aluminum Magic! ✨
This 1-pound package of MS MetalShipper's aluminum granules boasts an impressive purity of 98.7%, with each granule measuring approximately 2mm or smaller. Designed for durability, it arrives in a heavy-duty plastic bag to prevent corrosion and oxidation, making it an essential material for a variety of industrial and DIY applications.

As Advertised, But Wash Before Using
The granules arrived tightly vacuumed-packed. No complaints.I can't speak to their elemental purity. However, they are definitely not lab-grade. I'm not downgrading my rating as these granules are not advertised as being suitable for laboratory use.Depending on your application, you may need to very thoroughly solvent wash the granules in an ultrasonic bath to drive off the contaminants...those mostly being oil.

1330?
1330 degree melt temp...? Yeahhhh I don't know what's in this aluminum but it's not all aluminum. It casts well enough to use.

Should have read the reviews
Bought to use for casting. Did not melt and emitted terrible fumes.

Passable
This is not an ideal material for metal casting. The high surface area of the pieces leads to lots of oxidation and loss of material to slag. My main reason for writing this however was cleanliness of the metal itself. The grains were probably sourced from recycled aluminum bullet shell casings. When touched, my hands got gunpowder residue on them, and when I melted some in my furnace, the smell of gunpowder was overwhelming. Definitely clean these throughly before using them for any chemical applications.

Not pure aluminum
As some others have stated (I looked at reviews after my experience), this is not anything close to pure aluminum. Melting temp doesn’t lie, and I had it at 1250° C for quite a while and it did not melt. Disappointing.

NOT FOR CASTING
NOT FOR CASTING! Does not metal and gives off a fume that is not what I ave ever encountered in smelting aluminum!

Magnetic aluminum lol!
Not 97%+. Scary. Was going to use it to cast and hit 1900 and still no melt. I’m no metallurgy master but the aluminum on my planet goes liquid at lower temps. Now I’m a bit concerned what I was exposing myself to. Ran a second batch and added it to off the shelf cans... the “granules” never melted. Since it sticks to a magnet...???? Your guess is probably as good as the manufacture.
