Walking in the sandals of Jesus' original audience
I'm currently using this book with our women's Bible study, and the ladies love it! Take off your 21st century spectacles and read the stories of Jesus' encounters with people according to their original 1st century context. How did Jesus show love to those around him and teach others to love in better way? "Love Walked Among Us: Learning to Love Like Jesus" will challenge you and transform your day to day relationships!

Must Read for Everyone!
I can’t say enough about this beautiful piece of literature. I look forward to spending time in this book everyday. Paul is so gifted at sharing the heart of Jesus through story & scripture. I really enjoy his writing style as if we’re having a conversation face to face. Most importantly- digging a little deeper into the love and compassion of Jesus is such a joy to my heart. This book gives you fresh eyes to delight in our Savior! Would also make a great gift to draw a loved one closer to Christ. May you be transformed through reading this and more like Christ each day! :)

Jesus’ love
One of the best books on Jesus I have ever read. An easy read that penetrates your soul and allows you to see what loving like Jesus on a daily basis looks like. It has truly opened my heart even more to the person of Jesus! This book is loaded with scripture references (which I love!) and it has great every day examples as well to relate to. I love Paul Miller’s books and this one is my favorite (next to a Praying Life). For a great morning read in your quiet time this book truly hits the spiritual “spot” and helps you to reassess how you love ! You won’t regret this book.

Excellent content, poorly written, horribly read
The content of what Paul Miller writes in this book is powerful, convicting, and encouraging. Much of it is profound and insightful. Yet this is by far his worst writing. It's choppy, and in places it seems like he is just stringing together catch phrases and sound bites. And the Audible version is simply horrible. I had to read the book myself because the reading (by Paul Miller himself) is so distractingly terrible that I felt I needed to read it myself to be able to appreciate the content of what he writes about in this book. The best way to describe the Audio is to think that someone asked him to record the audio, and he declined because he was too busy, and then agreed to just record himself any chance he had a few minutes to record a chapter or two, and then they just took the raw recordings and published it as the final audio book. I later realized that the writing itself was part of the problem with the poor reading, but still did not account for all that made this such a horrible audio presentation of his book.

An "everyone" book!
Love Walked Among Us: Learning To Love Like Jesus has quickly become one of my "everyone" books. As soon as I read it, I ordered a case of copies to put in the hands of everyone in our church and everyone who crossed my path. Paul Miller's keen study of how Jesus loved people is fresh, unique, and eminently readable-full of winsome wisdom in succinct sentences and 3D stories.Everyone can profit from reading it-from closet Pharisees (like me) to honest unbelievers searching out the true identity of Jesus. Miller takes us on a tour of the gospels, shining a spotlight on the surprising ways and whys of Jesus' love for people and connecting the dots to our lives today. The book is the condensed fruit of a longer study of the Person of Jesus available on the author's helpful website: SeeJesus.net.The only thing missing in LWAU is a chapter by chapter discussion guide for small groups, so I wrote one for our church [...]. Love Walked Among Us climaxes with our Lord's death and resurrection, making it a great book for everyone to read as Easter approaches. Buy two copies: one to read and one to give away.

the love of jesus straight and simple
I want all of Jesus and his love as he understands it. I want it, I got it, I get it, then I forget it. Paul Miller helps me remember Jesus’s love so I am able to love.

Be ready for an electric reality check.
I had heard a quote from this book and loved it. So I ordered the book. There’s not a page that isn’t colored with yellow marker or underlined in pen. OUTSTANDINGLY convicting and encouraging at the same time. Scripture takes on depth and reality as Jesus walks the pages and Paul lifts the layers of truth to help my understanding. Haven’t read a book quite this penetrating in a most inviting way. Still not finished. Enjoying stopping at the well of truth to rest and drink deeply.

Good
A friend of mine recommended this book to me. I just started reading it but I’ve been enjoying it so far. It makes me think about the Gospel passages as if I were in the story, and it’s been helpful to have a deeper understanding of and learn from Jesus
