It is everything one could hope for in an iron 😊 It is a brilliant design and in my humble opinion, better than the High Performance Steam Generator Irons (HPSGI) (which I have used quite a lot) because it is hotter and has the same function (it will constantly steam when in a horizontal position But without the need to hold down a button and it will stop steaming when in an upright position). You can select the temperature so technically speaking, it has more functionality than the HPSGIs and it is easier to use because you don’t have to constantly hold down the steam button or keep descaling it or filling it with expensive water. It is a user friendly design, light weight, easy to fill with water, economical with water, easy to carry and store in a cupboard and has maximum functionality. Basically, it has everything that you could possibility want in an iron And it looks stunning! Funny how sometimes it takes a new, badly designed model like the HPSGIs to make one realise what we had to begin with 😄 It has a powerful steam blast button for extra steam power if you need it. I cant go into all the details here as this review would be too long but you will not regret buying it. In fact, you will appreciate things you never appreciated before 😄 It is an excellent design and I am so happy that I purchased it. Note: I do not find the position of the steam button a problem as other reviews have mentioned. It is in the perfect position. Furthermore, I cannot find one negative thing to say about this product. I just hope that Morphy Richards keeps manufacturing them as it is a masterpiece of design. Thank you Morphy Richards for your excellent design!

A great item, not too heavy and yet able to flatten when ironing really easily. Easy to fill with water and easy to see the water level at at glance. Really useful.

No real frills and I wasn't expecting anything special for the price. Looks fine, easy to use (though I found the water filler lid to be difficult to open), heats up quickly and does a good, if basic, job. It doesn't produce a lot of steam compared to more expensive models and the water tank is slightly smaller (but really not by much), but for the price it's an excellent buy. If the price was higher, it wouldn't be a 4 star purchase, but this is a very good value item and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I find the power cord to be a too short and the filler lid a little tough to open.

I just purchased this iron and I am extremely pleased with its performance and value for money. The iron has a strong steam jet and heats up quickly, making ironing efficient and hassle-free. The large water tank is a great feature, allowing for extended use without frequent refills. Additionally, the delivery was impressively fast, arriving within 24 hours. At under £20, this iron offers excellent quality at an affordable price. Highly recommended!

This iron is nice and light,even when full of water.Gets hot enough for my needs.Not as hot as my previous iron,but works fine

So far so good - I ditched a far more expensive steam cleaner that had stopped working after less than one year of use. This iron is a fraction of the cost and to be honest it is as good if not better. It is fairly light weight, looks good and makes ironing easy and quick. What more do you need.

I had a few problems getting the temperature right at first but the steam function is strong and it’s lightweight to use. I like the modern design and it was very good value.

At last, I’ve won on the lottery that is finding a new iron which:1. actually works ……. I had to return the first one ordered as it didn’t! (A different brand which put me off looking at more from that brand.)2. does everything it says - and more efficiently than my old one.3. allows me to be able to SEE the water level when topping up - the use of a lighter-coloured chamber is the secret. (Designers please note!)4. looks well-designed, neat and smart.5. works ……. I repeat! There are so many complaints from customers returning those which don’t!My only query would be asking why it doesn’t have a longer cord.Along with a new ironing board cover, ‘strange as it may sound, doing the ironing isn’t quite so dull!Thank you Morphy Richards!
