Great surgical pad to practice for clinical rotations. Easy to use and very durable. Great fo rhe price just wish it was a bit deeper with skin layers . The complex patterns are amazing to practice with.

As a PA student, I highly recommend this Suture Pad for medical and vet students. Its three-layer design and a rip-resistant mesh embedded within makes it ideal for honing suturing skills effectively. The problem I have with this pad is it’s height. It only stands about half an inch off the table, so it does not provide a realistic feel for your forceps hand, slight lifting pulls the pad off the table. If you are serious about getting some practice to impress a surgeon in the OR, I would spring for a higher quality (and higher price pad). If you’re a student that just wants a little extra practice when it comes to throwing sutures and tying knots, this will be alright.

I have clinicians who need to be checked off on skills each year and this is perfect for allowing them to practice removing sutures and staples. I was easily able to staple some of the incisions and suture others to make this practice possible and I foresee being able to reuse this for quite some time before needing to replace it. It's really working well for my needs.
