This dehumidifier work well and is ideal for SMALL tightly sealed spaces.
I have been testing this unit over the last few days and have to say I am pleasantly surprised at it's performance. I noted another reviewer who mentioned the inaccuracy of the RH% reading displayed on the unit... and I did see that for a few minutes when I first turned the unit on. However, after placing it into the tightly sealed space I planned on using it ( which has a glass window ) I was able to see the the reading did normalize and was typically only off by 2~3% from the CALIBRATED hygrometer I was using to verify the accuracy of it's internal reading... not too shabby! When the unit is in a large open area the reading are NOT accurate, but that is NOT how this unit is intended to be used. Tests confirmed this unit IS effective at holding a (realistic) RH% within about 5%, which is pretty good in my opinion. This unit makes virtually NO noise and creates VERY LITTLE ambient waste heat ( but what heat it does generate will only help push RH% down farther anyway. )

Should be taken off the market Amazon should be ashamed selling this piece of junk
1) Suppose to come with 6' drain hose the one I received was 3' 5" .2) I have in a insulated room the is 4" x 5", 20 sq ft and I have had it running about 10 hours now barely any water in tank and it was at 57% humidity when I started and 10 hours later I am still at 57% humidity. This unit dose not work and after reading the many other bad reviews I wished I would of read before I spent the $80 + for this unit to protect my guitars to find that it is junk with faults advertising. Can not believe they the sell them for more than $5.00 Might work in a very small gun case. Closet no way.I also notice they don't sent a return sticker with it. I'm sure to make it harder to return other wise the would get them all back. hopefully other people will read all these bad reviews and not waist their time and money.Hopefully Amazon starts reading the product reviews on the products the sell ans ones like this the take down and stop selling. To submit the review they make you click at least on star I actually give it zero stars It is a failed product and should not be manufactured any more!

Great little dehumidifier.
Does a good job of keeping the humidity down in my man cave with multiple gun cabinets.

Good, but not great
This could be a great device if the manufacturer had used slightly better components, but the design is good regardless of its shortcomings. The negative reviewers here clearly don't understand anything about environmental control. None of the cheap Peltier thermoelectric dehumidifiers on amazon will keep up with a closet full of perspiring plants or a drafty room subject to air exchange; you need a compressor based refrigeration system to do that. This device is basically a mash up of an industrial electrical cabinet Peltier dehumidifier used in professional applications and the silly mini dehumidifiers sold online and it works surprisingly well. For a lot of situations the smallest available compressor-based dehumidifier is so overkill it will just constantly cycle on and off, killing the compressor while barely removing moisture, so units like this are genuinely the only option for a lot of scenarios. My main gripe with this thing is that the built in capacitive humidity sensor is cheap and inaccurate, as a result the readings on the front of unit are nonsensical most of the time and the programmed settings are simply not accurate. You can overcome this with a 5 dollar external hygrometer to get things dialed in properly but its annoying. The sensor inside the unit is wired so you could easily replace it with something better or even just remotely locate it outside the unit for significantly better accuracy. The availability and configuration of the drain plug on this unit is key for my needs though which makes this worth the hassle, otherwise you might be better served by an external humidistat controller and some other cheaper thermoelectric dehumidifier for roughly the same price. After the unit has been running for a short while the relative humidity in the enclosed space quickly drops and the temperature difference required to hit the dew point exceeds what a Peltier cooler of any size or arrangement can achieve. However it does make quick work of a large portion of the moisture in an enclosed space (see screenshot for example -- very large cabinet using the smaller unit, with a computer fan circulating the air inside). This does not eliminate the need to use desiccants if you want to things to be properly dried out unfortunately but it will significantly reduce the amount of work you have to do in maintaining your desiccants over time.key details:1. The small unit is rated for 22.5w power consumption (label on the back of the unit), unless your space is extremely small heating shouldn't be an issue2. It will remember your humidity setting after a power outage (or if you use an external humidistat controller)3. Peltier temperature delta from ambient seems to max out about -27F, slightly less than it should be probably but good enough -- a better internal fan or hot-side heatsink might improve this a bit4. You can set the humidity as low as 20% but this is obviously not achievable, it will just run continuously (which is nice if you want to leverage an external controller for better accuracy)5. At 70F ambient and external humidity at 50%, setting the unit to 40% target resulted in plateau around 47% actual, 35% target achieved 43% actual before plateauing, 30% target seems to be running mostly continuously with little further effect (42%). In all cases the front of the unit was stuck reading at 35% while running, with seemingly random drift while cycled off (this is after 24 hours of "adjusting to the environment" per the user manual lol)

Not for growing
It worked but I think a closet is stretching this thing especially if you have plants... it's just too small.. the tank did fill slowly but never decreased humidity to level set. Might be good for a safe or closet if it's not a grow space

It's a joke
Don't waste your time and money. This thing is a toy. A cute little thing that probably come from temu. It does not work. It's a waste of materials. Seriously.

Deshumidifica poco
Lo he puesto en el camarote, pequeño de una lancha. Me consta que hay humedad y realmente extrae muy poco. Tengo equipos de otra marca en casa y en una hora extrae lo que este en 14 horas. No recomendable.

Does not work, it did not bring the humidity down even by 1 degree in a very small room.

It doesn't work!
It looks great, has all the features I want but it took three days to fill the chamber. And after all that time only reduced the humidity by 1%. Using it in a small insulated wine cellar. Too bad but back it will go.
