Great Product for Natural-Looking Hair
I am a repeat customer of this product, which means it works for me. I've been using it for a couple of months and love it. I boil water and wait until it cools to 90 degrees to shorten the dye release process. I mix this product with indigo when I apply it to my hair, giving my dark brown hair a more natural look.

Dark auburn
This is the third product I have bought. Previously brought copper (very bright orange), light brown (becomes ginger) and now brown which makes a dark Auburn. Very pretty! Easy to mix and put on. No additives! Just two plants: henna and indigo. Highly recommend.

The brown henna turns the gray hair golden
It doesn’t cover gray completely. I have some “patches” of silver hair and the rest of it brow. The brown color henna doesn’t color the silver hairs brown, looks reddish gold, not a nice color. Perhaps the black would do it.

Covered grays and color corrected!!!!
Corrected my color! I have been using lush cacca marron And brun for a few years. Recently I started getting different shades of red that didn’t blend well. Also, my hairline was drastically lighter and would not cover with brun. One application of this left my hair looking natural and evenly colored throughout all the shades I had going on. It also covered my stubborn hairline greys- which lush struggled to do. I may lush once in awhile for the conditioning, but this is my new main hair color! Thank you!

I first wanted to return this Henna & Indigo powder because even after two hours, it didn’t cover my gray hair at all. But before returning it, I watched some YouTube videos about henna dyeing and learned a few tricks. This time, I mixed the powder with hot water and added about half a spoon of juice from a lemon slice, then let it sit for 20 minutes at room temperature before applying. I left it on my hair for one hour, and unlike the first time, I could actually feel some warmth on my scalp — the color was developing! After rinsing with just water, my gray hair was almost completely covered. I canceled the return right away. The next day, I used coffee shampoo, and it helped keep the color rich and even turned the rest of my hair into a nice coffee-brown tone. If you don’t have scalp allergies, I recommend using coffee shampoo after henna dyeing to help maintain the color longer.

Very good value I do roots only every four to six weeks. I have a lot of thick long hair. I mix it in an old Tupperware and use a roots brush from a Clairol roots touch up box, and I wear gloves. Once mixed, I put the Tupperware in a shallow sink of hot water to keep it warmed, as it takes me thirty minutes to apply all over roots. Once applied, I cover with a green food recycling bin bag (english people will understand this), then a towel, and leave for 2-2.5 hours. The only time it doesn't cover greys is when I don't apply the mix properly. I wash it out in shower, then apply a conditioner (currently Aussie 3 minute). Once dry, I don't wash it until really needs it, as that helps the colour develop (4 days usually, 48h minimum). It's a rich silky chocolate brown in mousy brown hair, the greys go a bit orange but I don't mind at all as looks natural and highlighted. Hair in much better condition than using harsh chemical dyes. Washes off porcelain sink easily if you drop any. Will stain towels and flannels unless you rinse instantly or bleach it. Obviously use a damp cloth to get it off your face, ears, neck etc or it will stain for a while.

I usually order the light but; I went 'n experimented with straight Indigo 'n then tried Blonde dye from the store. My hair turned blue! Lol! So I ordered this darker shade to fix my colorful hair! From on now I'm sticking with these plant dyes! The dye you buy in stores burns your scalp 'n makes hair brittle! This henna blend worked out good! It took my tye dyed blonde 'n blue hair 'n blended it a little better, making it look more natural! I'll probably do it twice more to get it more blended! If your hair is blonde; you'll probably want to do each package one a day or two after the other (3 hours each time for darker n coverage) unless a bright orange is what your after; then just use 1 package! I feel like you cant go wrong with Henna blends! Whatever your hair colour! It always looks natural! It covers the greys! It doesn't burn your skin! Its just a little messy!
